Hey there my name is Blake! I’m a 24 year old who’s been living in New York Bronx with a roommate for about a year now. I was raised in the Ivory Coast which makes me fluently bilingual in French. I’ve had a lot more experiences with caregiving than childcare before, and would like to further expand my experience with kids because they are a lot more fun and jovial and very heartfelt little creatures. They also have a lot more energy, which I do too. I was a nanny for about over year before moving to New York, and It was amazing to me, to see how much you can learn from those you’re meant to be teaching. It was a little boy of the age of 6 who had a lot of curiosity. This was actually particular to him, as he was a very smart boy. My time with him was mostly play, feeding, staying home, shower, going to the park, and whatever activities we could find to do. Music, dancing and lots of jumps were very common activities to him. It seemed to be very stimulating, or sometimes very heartfelt which was either funny to watch or cool to live in general. Hi! My name is Azalea and here is a little bit about me :) I started working with kids when a family friend needed a babysitter, but even earlier in life I've always taken care of my younger cousins. I have babysat children from 1. 5 years of age to 11 years old, and have worked with children from 4 months of age to children in the 8th grade. I have experience with homework help, cleaning, changing diapers, playtime, meals, and putting the kids to bed. I have no problem staying overnight, and I am very pet friendly. I currently work at a school during the day as a teachers assistant. I am in school to be an educator. I treat all children with respect, and believe in following all boundaries of the child, so long as it puts no one or nothing in danger. I have my drivers license, and am also very versed in public transportation. I love taking kids out to the park or out for food as long as the parents are okay with it.
