Yvonne $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Yvonne, and I'm a freshman at LIM College for Fashion Media in New York. Originally from Washington State, I'm currently in the process of making NYC my permanent new home. Growing up in a big family with two younger siblings and lots of cousins has given me plenty of experience with childcare. I've also had the joy of caring for our three family dogs back home. I'm eager to offer babysitting services, including homework help and fun activities, as I've always enjoyed spending time with kids. Additionally, I'm happy to assist with light household tasks such as cleaning and running errands. I'm enthusiastic about meeting new families and providing reliable care. If you're looking for a friendly and responsible caregiver, I'd be delighted to connect and discuss how I can support your family's needs.

Gabrielle $30 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Gabby. I’m 28 - born and raised in NYC. I’ve had a huge passion for childcare since being a teen. Most recently I babysat for 2 gorgeous twins - 1 boy and 1 girl from their ages 5-7, until they moved away in 2024. I built a strong bond with them almost instantly that only got stronger over the 2 years. Since then, I've been doing occasional gigs here and there, but I hope to find more steady work. I’ve had several other jobs related to child care as well as pet care. I’m naturally a very nurturing person, so babysitting especially is something I gravitate towards. It’s also in my blood as I come from a line of teachers! My grandmother was a teacher in her day and my mother is an assistant teacher at an amazing nursery school! Everyday she comes home from work excited to show me new pictures of her babies at school - so sweet. Aside from childcare, I also have a background in art from my father’s side. As much as I love children, I'm currently finishing up a degree in Interior Design at Parsons (all asynchronous classes, so it would not interfere with my schedule). My favorite thing in the world is being able to combine my two passions – childcare and art! I love teaching kids art and introducing them to new medias, even getting technical and teaching perspective such as drawing 3D objects! During my last job with the twins, I introduced them to felting which was very fun. It was so rewarding to see their colorful creations! Overall I’m looking forward to going back to childcare. I know having a connection with a child is not something you can force, so if you think I might be a good match for your child/children, please do not hesitate to contact me! I am also able to look after any animals if needed, I am a huge animal lover and have looked after everything from dogs, to even chickens! Any chores you need done around the house can also get taken care of (permitting there's enough time in the day). Thank you!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
