My primary studies centered around better understanding family dynamics and child development, which lead to my senior year internship working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America in Syracuse. I mentored roughly 15 children (ages 14-10) in an after school learning program and created artistic/ academic activities to support their social and emotional learning skills. It was one of the most moving experiences in my professional career! I’ve also worked as a camp counselor, and have had numerous part-time babysitting gigs over the years.
