Let me introduce myself- I’m monica. I I was born in Colombia, South American, As a child I was adopted and raised in New York City by my mother who was a public school teacher for 36 years before retiring from the NYC Board of Education. I married at a young age and now have an amazing eighteen year old daughter, who is a freshman at college in Michigan. Throughout my daughter’s childhood I was fortune enough to be a full time mother, and so I devoted myself completely to her. I am eternally grateful for my role as her mother. When she was a child, she sang, with the children’s Chorus of New York Metropolitan Opera. Rehearsal, auditions, and picking her up from school took up most of my time. There were many trips to the park, theater performances, dancing classes, and other varied experiences. I have listed these so you will feel assured that I will do these or other activities to enrich the lives of your children. Hello! My name is Zoe, and love working with kids!My first experience working with kids, was when I went to Nepal in my junior year of high school. There, I taught students photography with my fellow classmates, while also rebuilding their school after an earthquake had hit it. I have also tutored a 1st grader in Phonics, when I was in my senior year of high school. I am looking for a steady job doing something that I love.
