Hi! My name is Andrea and I would be happy to help you care for your children. I am 27 years old and a current university student at Baruch College studying business with a flexible schedule. My experience with children begins from 2[removed] working with a 14 month old, and two brothers ages 6 and 9 throughout the years. I have also worked as a Teacher's Assistant for after school religion classes, and tutored children from low-income groups. Working with your child or children would be a great opportunity for me. I would be able to provide my recent reference to further support my qualifications. Hope to hear from you!

Andrea helped watch my daughters (11 and 12), and they loved her. She’s calm, sweet, and communicative with them. They enjoy their time with her.

Hi, my name is Lauren! I’m a recent NYU graduate with a degree in Film and Television Production and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. I’ve had many years of childcare experience, as I grew up in a large family with many younger cousins! I’ve been a consistent nanny in the city for the past four years, taking care of children ages 0-5! I am looking for full time work though I am always open to part time. I love working with children and I really enjoy spending time with every child I have the privilege of caring for!

Hello! My name is Rosaria, and I’m currently a student at NYU studying Theater and Social Sciences. I’ve always loved working with kids and creating environments where they feel comfortable, safe, heard, and able to be themselves. I have experience working with children of many different ages through babysitting and as a camp counselor at a music summer camp, where I worked with campers ages 8–16. I led improv games, arts and crafts activities, music-based activities, and helped create a fun and welcoming environment for all campers. Working with children has also always been a part of my life because my mom has been a full-time nanny for over 30 years. Since I was 16, I’ve helped assist her with caring for children and babies of all ages (with permission from families), and through that experience, I learned how important patience, communication, attentiveness, and trust are when caring for kids. I love engaging kids through reading, imaginative play, sketching, LEGO builds, card games, crafts, and making stories feel interactive, creative, and fun. I cook and meal prep for myself often and genuinely love cooking and baking. I’d always be happy to prepare meals/snacks or even make cooking a fun activity with your child when appropriate! I also have experience cat-sitting and caring for pets, so I’m very comfortable in homes with animals as well.

Rosaria has watched our children (ages 5 and 8) several times, and we’ve always had a great experience. She’s reliable, communicative, and easy to work with. Our kids immediately connected with her and are always excited when she comes over. She does a great job keeping them engaged, whether they’re playing games, reading, or using their imaginations. We especially appreciate how present and attentive she is with them. It’s clear she genuinely enjoys working with children. We trust her completely and would happily recommend her to other families.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
