Hi! My name is Tess and I am a student at Fordham University. I am offering babysitting, pet care and household chore services. I have been a babysitter since I was twelve, starting as a mother's helper and onwards from there. My responsibilities included driving to and from school, helping with homework, sports and activites, putting the kiddos to bed, and overall general home care. I have worked with ages 1-14, as a babysitter, camp counselor and nanny. As a sociology major, I hope to start a career in early education! Depending on the child’s age, I also like involving them in meal prep and hands-on learning experiences. In addition to childcare, I enjoy helping maintain a clean and organized home through tidying, bottle cleaning, and meal prep support. I am currently part of the NYU Teacher Residency program and am seeking part-time work until my program begins in August.

I am a 23 year old college student studying to become a child psychologist. I have had 6+ years of experience with children. I have worked with 20+ kids at Mill Basin Day Camp and I have also done many other babysitting jobs. My patience is out of this world which is very important when working with kids and I am also very creative and fun which I think they enjoy! I have worked with kids with learning disabilities, and psychological disorders so I am experienced in being able to help kids who may have complications with independently completing certain tasks or may require different child care approaches.
