My name is Liz, I’m 33 years old, and originally from Brazil. I’ve been working with children for over ten years in a variety of roles that include nannying, family assistance, and cook support. I’m passionate about creating structure while also keeping things fun, organized, and nurturing for the children and families I work with. Previously, I was a family assistant/nanny/cook for a family with two school-aged girls. My mornings started early, getting the girls ready for school by prepping lunch boxes, encouraging them to make their beds and tidy their rooms, hairstyles, and handling school drop-offs. I was also responsible for the weekly grocery shopping and collaborate with the mom on meal planning to ensure the family’s routine and nutrition needs were met. I handled all the cooking and meal prep and also took on various home projects such as organizing rooms, closets, and redesigning garage storage systems. When the kids were home, I focused on engaging them with activities like crafts, cooking together, outdoor adventures, playground trips, and museum outings. Before this, I was working in a nanny share with a 21-month-old boy and a 22-month-old girl. I had been with the girl since she was 3 months old, and we started the share when the children were 6 and 7 months old. I have hands-on experience with Montessori practices, sleep training, introducing solids, and supporting motor skill development. In a previous role, I worked as a nanny/family assistant for two incredible girls, ages 7 and 10. My responsibilities included school pickups and drop-offs, homework help, coordinating their daily routines, managing their laundry and belongings, and planning fun and enriching activities like hiking, biking, and arts and crafts. As a family assistant, I supported the household by organizing the family calendar, running errands, grocery shopping, helping with meal planning and prep, and generally making sure the household ran smoothly.

Like many of us, I started nannying during college. My undergraduate degree in Legal Research, combined with my interest in International Business, gave me the opportunity to study in New York, South Korea, Egypt, and Italy. My cultural adaptability, patience, and reliability have allowed families to entrust me with the care of their most precious loved ones. After college, I dedicated my time and expertise to supporting families with long-term needs. I have experience with infants to school-age children, including those with special needs or behavioral challenges. I am familiar with rotational schedules and flying to destinations on a rotation basis. I have accompanied families on holidays and served as a valuable extension of their comprehensive needs, especially for high-net-worth individuals. Regarding my demeanor, I am lighthearted and love to laugh. I remain calm in stressful situations and am well-equipped to handle the unexpected. I love learning and am never too proud to admit when I am wrong. My superpower is learning quickly. Outside of my professional life, I am quite adventurous. I love trying new things, whether it’s a new sport, restaurant, or activity. I enjoy walking long distances, watching and reviewing films, and, of course, my love for travel remains strong.

I am 23 and an actor now residing in NYC. I was born & raised in Indiana and used to help keep my Nana company and would assist with my younger cousins. Being an actor, I love to play make believe with the little ones. I was also an assistant improv instructor for kids ages 5-12 and an acting teacher for neurodiverse/disabled teens and adults. Hi, I'm Mary! I've always loved kids, and find that nothing brings me as much joy as working with them. I have over 13 years of babysitting experience, and over 7 years experience as a nanny/after school sitter. I've worked with almost every age, ranging from 4 months to young teens. I have a degree in Acting/Musical theatre from Carnegie Mellon, and find that my experience "playing pretend" has lent itself quite well to working with children, as they have the best imaginations of us all. I'm vaxxed/boosted, and also love all animals.
