I have had the opportunity to care for children ranging in age from approximately 8 months to 7 years old. I have always distinguished myself as a very active individual—constantly establishing routines and fostering good habits to make the parents' job easier. I am currently learning English—a language I already understand—and with my previous employers, even though their native language was French, we maintained excellent communication. With the last child I cared for, I was with him from the age of 6 months until he was two and a half years old, at which point he started school. I taught him to crawl quickly, to speak, to identify sounds, and to walk; I personally prepared all his meals, from soft foods to solid foods; and I effortlessly instilled in him a love for vegetables and taught him to let us know when he needed to use the potty. It is clearly an example of a very young child who speaks, understands, and likes three languages: Spanish, English, and French.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
