Hi! My name is Thaina, and I am currently entering my last semester at California Polytechnic State University, where I am studying Architecture. I am seeking a weekly and occasional babysitting job for the upcoming year. I have over ten years of experience working with children, beginning by caring for my younger siblings. I later expanded my experience by tutoring at weekend schools and college. Most recently, I have focused on babysitting elementary and middle school-aged children. Being the oldest sibling, I have always been surrounded by kids and genuinely love their sweet innocence and fun energy. I am naturally energetic and committed to ensuring your children have a memorable and enjoyable experience! If the weather is nice, I would love to take the kids to the park or participate in outdoor activities. If we need to stay indoors, I can bring out my arts and crafts supplies to create fun projects together. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading, and painting. I look forward to the opportunity of working with your family!

“Very kind, on time, great with kids!”

How’s it going , When it comes to raising four boys at home, The safety awareness skills you learn while mothering your own children will stay with you throughout your life. Racing my four boys taught me the stages of childhood development and what to expect at different ages. These skills are useful when working with kids at any time in the future and especially if you are planning on working with children to make living! How to entertain children With enough motherhood skills plus caring for other children, you can have child-entertaining down to a fine art. You can quickly become a master of playing, reading, singing, drawing, improvising, and having fun. Children get sick a lot (particularly when attending childcare centers), so caring for them when they are not well is something you will pick up right away. There are many tactics to know that can make a child feel more comfortable, loved, and to help them recover quicker. You can also learn how to prevent the spread of germs and stop other people from getting sick, including yourself! Helping children to understand their emotions, manage their feelings, and learn the difference between right and wrong behavior is challenging, but it is also a rewarding experience. There are many subtleties to learn and every family may have a slightly different set of disciplinary values they wish to uphold. Sometimes children are prone to tantrums. You can learn to pre-empt trigger situations, and how to plan around them. You can learn the art of distraction (very powerful) and if a tantrum does occur, you can learn how to stay calm in stressful situations while remaining firm with your principles. Child encouragement and motivation strategies! Explaining why things need to be done! Building trust, and; Leading by example. These learned strategies can be invaluable in your day-to-day when dealing with children. I hope this answers some of your questions and please to hesitate to contact me if you are willing to meet. I have excellent references available upon request. My references can attest to my dedication, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on the children I have cared for. Have a bless day.... Hi everyone - My name is Yoselin, and I’m a student at Queens College. I’m offering childcare, dog care, and cleaning services. I’ve been babysitting children aged 6 months to 12 years old for over three years. I’ve helped with schoolwork (tutoring and projects), crafts, and even given dance lessons because, as a fun fact, I’m a collegiate dancer with training in various genres. This last year I’ve had the pleasure of working with two families. Both under the age of two. However, I am actively looking to start a new position so please feel free to reach out. I’ve also dog-sited and house-sited before 😊 • I can provide references ! Please note the following: To ensure my own safety, I require a uber or taxi back home for jobs that finish after 10 PM. I’m more than happy to complete a job that pays below my usual rate(s) if I apply for it.

“Yoselin was amazing with our 5 yr old! Lots of play time and she brought him out of his shy shell. We will definitely be hiring Yoselin again and highly recommend her to other families. ”

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
