Hi families! My name is Carolyn, and I have a genuine passion for caring for children and helping them grow in safe, supportive, and positive environments. I currently work at Champion Elementary in Daytona Beach in an ESE Pre-K blended classroom, where I assist students with a variety of learning and behavioral needs. But I am in New York for the summer . I was recently nominated for Paraprofessional of the Year by the Volusia Council for Exceptional Children and currently serve on the Conference Committee for the Florida Council for Exceptional Children. I am also enrolled at Daytona State College pursuing my AA degree through Volusia County’s Pathways to Teacher Program as I continue working toward becoming a certified teacher. I am coming up to NY for the summer of 2026 . I have experience caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary-aged children in both school and childcare settings. I enjoy creating engaging activities, helping with routines, supporting learning, and making children feel comfortable and cared for.
