Hello! My name is Guwo and I am from Portland, Oregon. I was born and raised here and moved to Eugene for undergrad where I lived there for four years. I received my bachelor's degree in Sociology and decided to move back to Portland to study for my LSATs for law school. I love being with kids. I think they teach you a lot even when you do not realize it. I am a very patient person who is quick to make the best decisions for what I think is the right choice. I am very organizational and know these qualities are important with jobs like this. Since I was 16 years old I've worked and volunteered with kids. I worked at my local church with kids from the ages of infants to 11 years old. I have also babysat families of kids from between ages 4 to 12 years of age. During my time in school, my main focus was my education, but when I had time I worked at the local church in Eugene and participated in the children's ministry.

Having a degree in Psychology with a minor in child development and music, makes me qualified to attend to your most precious children, but the fact that I love kids makes it even better. I was an assistant director of a preschool for 3 years, an assistant director of an after school and summer program for almost 15 years. Not to mention a character performer at both Disneyland and WDW. I also was a manager at the Disney store too, so entertaining kids is no problem, it’s what I do. Having raised 3 of my own kids, now gives me the time to help care for yours. You have furry kids too, no problem, I love them too(we have 3 dogs and 5 cats). I love kids! I worked for 20 years as an occupational therapist, about 10 years working with kids birth through age 5 who had developmental delays and/or sensory issues, fine and gross motor delays. We worked as a team and OT/PT/speech, and early childhood teachers/specialists coached each other in the basics. For about eight years, I also worked with kids ages 6 to 16 years of age. I trained in child/human development & did child care for about 10 years (a few months to 13 years). I enjoy creating a safe, fun, nurturing environment and engaging children through language, reading, walks, age-appropriate play, physical & tabletop play, art, helping with cooking/baking. I am very responsible and dependable, flexible, easy-going, loving, attentive and fun! With 7+ years of experience in being a nanny for a wonderful family with three boys, it’s safe to say I’m a seasoned nanny.
