Hi! My name is Estrella, and I’m an experienced childcare provider with a genuine passion for working with children and helping them feel safe, loved, confident, and supported as they grow.
I have experience working as an infant and toddler teacher, nanny, babysitter, and childcare provider, caring for children ranging from infants through toddlers and young children. Through these experiences, I’ve developed a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, routines, personalities, and developmental stages.
As an infant and toddler teacher, I have experience creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environments where children can learn through play and everyday experiences. I enjoy planning activities that support language development, fine and gross motor skills, sensory exploration, social-emotional development, independence, and early learning. I love incorporating elements of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf-inspired learning, process art, music, movement, sensory play, and Spanish into my childcare experiences.
As a nanny and babysitter, I understand how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust with their children. I strive to provide dependable and attentive care while following each family’s routines, expectations, and parenting preferences. I’m comfortable helping with meals, snacks, diaper changes, nap and bedtime routines, playtime, activities, outings, and keeping children’s spaces organized.
I especially enjoy working with babies and toddlers because I love watching them reach new milestones and discover the world around them. Whether we’re reading a book, singing songs, practicing new words, exploring a sensory activity, going for a walk, or simply enjoying quiet play, I believe every moment can be an opportunity for learning and connection.
One of my favorite parts of childcare is getting to know each child as an individual. Every child is different, and I believe they deserve patience, encouragement, and care that is adapted to their unique personality and developmental needs. I want children to feel comfortable being themselves while also building confidence and independence.
