I’m a 23 year old Communication major from CU Boulder, originally from Centennial. I worked as a part time after-school aid in high school for ages 3-6, and then was a full time any for two summers for 3 awesome kiddos. I’m looking for a full time nannying position or weekly help, preferably in the Queen Anne or Belltown area.

I am a professional nanny living in Belltown but am willing to to travel around the metro area to care for children. During my days I am constantly taking kids to parks, gyms and community centers, play zones and walks: We read books, do art, sing songs and discover fun throngs kids love. I’ve taken children to the Ferris wheel, zoo, museums, the aquarium, Seattle City center and more. My background is completely different as I was in a high level stressful career and chose nannying and caregiving to change my life. I am CPR certified and first aid certified. In my past life I was a qualified OSHA trainer so I have a high focus on safety. During naps I am willing to cook, clean and handle pet needs. My experience working with young people is mostly across two different fields. I have experience with foster care and homelessness when I was younger and from the age of 16 to current day (although I do it less now) I have worked with young people experiencing foster care providing trainings, education, and public speaking opportunities pertaining to policy and legislative advocacy. I also over the years have combined about 5-6 years of experience working with young people in environments such as schools, boys and girls club, various day camps, and babysitting for my auntie. I love working with kiddos, and am more than capable of working with groups of them as well as taking care of them one on one. I think of myself as a fun and funny guy. I think there's just as much to learn from children as there is to teach them. I am confident in my ability to provide a safe and fun environment for whomever I'm working with. I also have recent a full background check for a previotjob I had working with young people in foster care before I moved to Seattle that I'd be happy to provide.
