I’m a 23 year old Communication major from CU Boulder, originally from Centennial. I worked as a part time after-school aid in high school for ages 3-6, and then was a full time any for two summers for 3 awesome kiddos. I’m looking for a full time nannying position or weekly help, preferably in the Queen Anne or Belltown area.

Caring for others has always been a constant in my life. I grew up babysitting and became involved in mentor programs starting at age 14, which set the foundation for my love of working with children, families, and people of all ages. I have extensive experience with older children and teens through my role as a mentor with Rainier Athletes, where I support high school students with goal-setting, confidence-building, emotional regulation, and navigating everyday challenges. I’m especially comfortable building trust with older kids and being a steady, positive role model. In college, I worked internationally as an au pair in Spain, teaching English and supporting a local family, and later became a live-in nanny in London for a one- and three-year-old. These roles gave me hands-on experience with early childhood routines, developmental milestones, structure, and patience—while also teaching me adaptability, communication, and cultural sensitivity. I also have experience with seniors and caregiving environments. My mother is a hospice caregiver, so I grew up around senior care and understand the importance of compassion, dignity, and attentiveness when supporting older adults. In addition, I am extremely comfortable with pets and home care. I’m a former member of TrustedHousesitters and have traveled internationally caring for homes and animals, managing everything from daily routines and medications to long-term stays. Animals are a joy for me, and I treat every home and pet as if they were my own. I *love* kids, from the awesome, fun 2 year olds to the teenagers that just need an adult in the room to make sure they're being cool with their social media ... I'm your guy for that. :) I'm a 53 year old father of two daughters, 19 and 13. I'm just a tech guy affected by layoffs and looking to "fill some holes in my budget," and find helping with kids is a great way to do that. Watching after the kids is fun and I get to help out some parents that need a break/some assistance. I remember being in that position when my kids were younger: wanting to go out, needing to take care of something, and not having someone trusted and reliable to count on. I can be your go-to here. I also don't mind some light housekeeping like laundry and dishes. I know I'd love to come back to my place just a little bit nicer than it was when I went out ... or at least don't have to take care of the kids' and babysitter's dishes or that wet load left in the washer before you left :) I think you'll like working with me and feel comfortable you can trust me with your kiddos.

Hi, I'm Aimee! I'm a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a trilingual caregiver fluent in ASL, Spanish, and English. I have 7+ years of paid childcare experience across WA, DC, and NY, working in daycares, preschools, and private homes.
