Seila 1 review
Seattle
$32 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hi! I’m Seila, a University of Washington graduate with a background in public health and extensive experience working with children. I’ve worked as a substitute teacher, instructional assistant (in both the U.S. and abroad), and tutor, supporting kids from toddlers to middle school. I’m especially great with younger children—I’m patient, attentive, and naturally warm, while also providing structure and consistency. I also have strong experience with middle schoolers, supporting their learning, communication, and behavior in a calm and respectful way. I love engaging kids through play, reading, and creative activities that support their development. I’m reliable, organized, and happy to help with routines like meals, naps, and light tidying. I take pride in creating a safe, positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported.

Seila was great with my 10 y/o daughter. I highly recommend her.

Booked by 10 families in Seattle, WA

Hello I am from Brazil, I came here to the USA through an exchange program to learn a new language and new culture. I am passionate about what I do, I love travel, photography, painting, and books. I cared for children of various ages and assisted with feeding, dressing, and daily activities. I believe in creating nurturing, safe environments to promote emotional, social, and intellectual growth. I provided safe transportation to and from activities and events. My strength is to engage with children on an individual basis to build positive, trusting relationships. I don't mind supporting household operations by completing laundry, cooking meals, and performing light cleaning.

Hello families! My name is Alejandra, and I’m a caring, responsible, and experienced nanny originally from Colombia. With over five years of experience, I specialize in infant and toddler care and have worked with wonderful families in both full-time and babysitting roles. A little about my experience: * I have extensive experience caring for babies and toddlers, including providing full-time care for multiple children at once. * My most recent full-time role involved caring for two little ones from infancy through their toddler years. * I also offer occasional babysitting and enjoy supporting families whenever they need an extra hand. Why book me? I love creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments for children. Whether it’s arts and crafts, reading, singing, dancing, or outdoor play, I focus on activities that support learning and development while making sure kids have fun! A few things to know about me: * Bilingual (Spanish is my native language—I’d love to introduce your child to a new language!) * CPR & First Aid Certified * Swimming Certified (great for water safety!) * Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19 * Clean Background Check & References Available I understand how important it is to find a trustworthy and loving caregiver, and I’d be happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with. $25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Hello! My name is Leticia, and I’m from Brazil. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from the Federal University of Sergipe, a well-respected state university in Brazil. I absolutely love caring for babies and children and have many years of experience working as a nanny. I’m excited to learn more about your family and how I can support you! I speak Portuguese and some English, and I’m confident we can communicate well. References are available upon request. Thank you so much!!😊

Leticia has worked for me as a house sitter and also as a chef. She's very talented in the kitchen and extremely reliable. Most recently, Leticia has helped me manage my household while my husband and I were away. She made sure the house was secure and that other staff (gardeners, etc.) were able to perform their duties with no obstacles. I highly recommend Leticia to help your family!

$25 per hour for 1 child

OOH TOODLES!! Hello there, I am a local childcare provider with a TON of child care experience. Over the last 13 years I have gained childcare experience ranging from fostering infants to tutoring elementary students, being a nanny, baby sitting, and various other childcare positions (a majority of my experience is with 0-4 years). In my spare time I enjoy traveling, self educating on foreign languages and countries, and creating memories. It is ideal for me to establish with a family who is seeking long term childcare. I am willing to vacation with the family as well as drop off/pick up if age appropriate. I am experienced with light house work for child as well as meal prep and pet friendly. CPR, First aid, blood borne pathogen certified, Valid Driver's license, continuing Early childhood Education credits, experience with sleep training. Availability: Full time shifts Monday - Friday starting as early as 5:00 am ending no later then 5:00 pm (No more then 10 OT hours)

We had a really positive experience with Princess! She helped us out in when we were in a bind with our approaching 5 & 2 year old kiddos. She brings a very calm & positive energy. She came prepared with bubbles and other fun activities for them but asked me what I was okay with before doing anything She kept the kids active and outdoors most of the day which was AMAZING to have them burn off energy. The kids acclimated to her super well & by the time it was time to say goodbye, my son made a comment that he wished she could stay forever (which is not something he’s ever said to any prior sitters we’ve had) She was punctual, and seems to genuinely love children; which our family could feel Look forward to having her back!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
