Hi, my name is Kim. I’m a warm, kind-hearted, and caring person who loves spending time with children and sharing in their youthful, energetic spirit. I’m a reliable and responsible adult with good judgment and many years of experience caring for babies, toddlers, and young children. I currently care for several families on a regular basis during the week. I am currently looking to connect with one more family in the Bellevue or Newcastle area. I’m self-motivated, highly organized, and also a great cook — happy to help with light meal prep if needed. I value working with families who see their nanny as part of the family, and I’m looking for a long-term position where I can build lasting bonds with the children. I have an inquisitive mind, a love of learning, and a genuine desire to help out wherever needed around the home. I’m easygoing, dependable, and always eager to lend a hand.

Kim took care of my mother. First time worked out well. Used translator app.

Seattle
$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 5 families in Seattle, WA

Hi! My name is Natalie and I am passionate about working with children. I have been babysitting and nannying non-stop since I was 12 years old. I love making meaningful connections with families, so I appreciate when I can become a frequent sitter for a family. I graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. I focused on environmental education in my undergrad, so I love taking kids outside to get them curious and excited about our beautiful planet. Most recently, I worked at a food bank in Seattle for two and a half years as a kitchen manager, creating ~1,000+ meals per day for low income/unhoused neighbors. This job was a dream job and also an incredibly difficult job that I’ve found myself needing a break from. Burn out is real in this world! Switching up my work and finding joy in play and caring for kids is exactly where I want to be. A little more about me: I’m an avid-outdoors person. I love backpacking, cycling, swimming, and skiing. In my free time I love exploring different mediums of art and creating in the kitchen! When I’m not nannying or babysitting, you can find me cooking something in the kitchen. I co-organize a free breakfast for unhoused neighbors once a week. I love to read— and would love to read to your little ones! Some of my most joyful memories from my own childhood are when the adults in my life would read me a bedtime story. I love the play and imagination a book can offer! I am happy to provide references from previous families beyond the Urban Sitter app reviews upon request. I look forward to getting to meet you and your family!

Natalie was amazing! Looking forward to having her over again, and would definitely recommend!

Mercer Island
$29 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

My name is Aracely , and I am a 29 year-old dedicated childcare provider from Bolivia. With a strong passion for child development, I have gained valuable experience in childcare, focusing on creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. My goal is to support children's growth through creative activities, positive reinforcement, and structured routines that foster learning and emotional well-being. I take pride in building meaningful connections with children and their families, understanding their unique needs, and providing reliable care. My experience working with children of different ages and backgrounds has strengthened my ability to adapt

Bottom line: Book Aracely without any hesitation! She was amazing with my high-energy 4 yr old son and 'stranger danger'-fearing 7 mo old daughter! For my son, she did arts and crafts projects with him and lots of imaginative play.  She was a natural with my daughter, immediately putting her to ease. After just one comment, she very quickly learned my daughter's routine and put her down for a nap, changed her, and fed her. During my daughter's wake window, Aracely read books and engaged her with toys. I was more comfortable having my kids in Aracely's care after just an hour than some of my past nannies who were with our family for months. She's calm, nurturing, and a wonderful communicator. She radiates warmth and just after she left, my son asked when Ms. Aracely will be back. I'll book her again in a heartbeat... unless another family beats me to it.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
