Hi, I’m MJ, and I’m 29 years old. I have many years of childcare experience and have been caring for children since I was 15, working with newborns, infants, toddlers, and school-age kids. Right now, I’m currently nannying for two children, ages 6 and 8, and I also provide backup care by covering shifts for a full-time nanny when needed. This has given me strong experience adapting quickly to different family routines, school schedules, activities, and household needs. In the past, I also cared for a baby from 3 months to 12 months old, so I’m very comfortable with infant care, including feeding, diaper changes, nap schedules, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. I enjoy engaging children through play, reading, educational activities, tutoring, and helping with routines such as swimming lessons. In addition to childcare, I can assist with light household tasks, organizing, errands, and pet care. I’m a dog owner myself, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets as part of supporting a busy household.

MJ is so kind & my boys had nothing but great things to say about her ! I would definitely hire her again! 10 out of 10 I really recommend hiring MJ for your family !

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hi, I’m Summer! I’m currently a part time nanny for twin 5 year olds and looking to pick up extra hours while I’m on break from school. I study Speech Pathology online and got certified this year to teach kids yoga which I’ve been loving and teach on occasion. I also have experience teaching swim lessons and have several years of childcare experience with kids of all ages, including multiple sets of twins. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun activities that help them learn and grow.

Summer was fantastic! She was professional, warm and engaging and my 10 year old daughter loved her from the second she walked through the door. Will definitely hire Summer again!

$25 per hour for 1 child

I studied Early Childhood Education and will soon continue my studies in Therapeutic Pedagogy. I am currently in the United States with the goal of improving my English while continuing to grow professionally in the field of child development. My English level is basic, but I am constantly learning and improving. I have more than 8,300 hours of childcare experience and am trained to care for children from newborns to 10 years old. My experience includes working in a Montessori school, church children's programs, and social work supporting children from underserved communities. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel safe. I enjoy outdoor activities, creative play, reading, and creating a positive and nurturing environment. I would be delighted to be a supportive, caring, and responsible presence in your child's life.

Fernanda was wonderful with my four-year-old daughter. She was energetic and affectionate, and she knew how to connect with her quickly and make her feel comfortable; my daughter asked me to call her again.

$24 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Hi, I’m Sammie, and I’m currently offering childcare as well as assistance with household services and pets. I currently work as a teacher at an outdoor school. I have two years of experience as a preschool teacher in an outdoor preschool, and have been working with kids as a teacher, tutor, babysitter, and guide for over ten years. My style of teaching and babysitting is child lead, informed by kids interests and passions. I obviously love involving outdoor play, but also love art, cooking, and other kinds of projects as well.

She is calm and cheerful and my kids love her! She approaches them at their level and gets them to open up, and they are comfortable with her. Would definitely hire her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
