Maria Augusta 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hello families! My name is Maria, I’m 29 years old and I’m from Brazil. I was an AuPair (live in) for 2 years and 6 months and I’ve been working with childcare in the USA for almost 4 years so far. I worked with newborns, infant, toddlers and older kids. I speak English and Portuguese, I’m very communicative, easygoing, clean and organized. I’m well versed with sensory play, I like taking the kids to parks, playgrounds and play dates. I know the importance of outside time but I can also find creative ways to keep them active on rainy days. I can cook, clean and help with everything related to the kids. I like music, love everything about Disney and I’m a big Harry Potter fan. I’m a family woman and very social. I have my own vehicle and a clean drive license. I have great recommendations if needed. I’m fully vaccinated including booster and Flu shot.

Maria nannied for our family for over a year and continues to babysit for our children when we have a need. She's excellent with all age groups and her love for kids is apparent in how she interacts with them. She's also very responsible - makes sure our children are always fed healthy foods, engaged in age appropriate play, etc. Any family would be lucky to have her!

$28 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 10 families in Seattle, WA

Hi! I’m Laura, a 23-year-old caregiver with 5 years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to school-age kids. I genuinely love spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun environment where they feel comfortable and happy. I enjoy doing crafts, reading stories, going on walks, and finding activities that keep kids engaged and active. I’m patient, attentive, and always try to match each child’s personality and needs. I’m also a big animal lover (especially dogs!), so I’m very comfortable in homes with pets and happy to help with pet care too. In addition to childcare, I can help with light cleaning, organizing, and running errands to make your day a little easier. I’m reliable, responsible, and always aim to make families feel they can trust me with their home and their kids.

Laura did a wonderful job taking care of our daughter. Laura was very communicative, helpful, punctual, and professional, and got along really well with our five year old. She got her to take a nap and a bath (two things our daughter isn't super fond of), and she conversed and played well with her. We would highly recommend Laura to other parents, and hope we can have her come back again to take care of our daughter.

Isabella 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Hi families! My name is Isabella and I have experience working with children here in the U.S. through the Au Pair program, where I cared for kids of different ages, from toddlers to school-aged children. That experience helped me learn how to adapt to different routines, handle responsibilities, and connect with kids in a positive way. I enjoy spending time with children because every day is different — whether it’s helping with homework, reading stories, playing outside, or keeping them entertained with simple activities. I like to create a safe and caring environment while also making sure kids are having fun. I am bilingual (English/Spanish), responsible, and easygoing. Families who have worked with me usually describe me as patient and trustworthy. I’m happy to support with light household tasks related to the kids if needed, and I’m flexible when it comes to schedules. I look forward to meeting new families and being a reliable extra hand when you need one!

I found Isabella on a short late notice, and she was able to accommodate me, she’s very Punctual , very communicative, and took care of my daughter, like if it was me. I appreciate it her so much. I would definitely recommend.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
