Angel $25 per hour for 1 child

I grew up in Redmond Washington then moved to Vancouver Washington 4 years ago. I am currently working at Lakeshore Child Center. I decided to move back to Seattle and attend Seattle Pacific University, majoring in International Business. Now I’m transferring to Washington State University in Vancouver to finish up my degree and continue me real estate licensing. My sister and brother both had kids which expanded my love for childcare and helping them both out. I did childcare for my neighbors all throughout 2020 and worked customer service at a gym after for 3 years. I also was a Food runner/Hostess for a restaurant, and then worked at a fine dining restaurant serving and hosting as well! This summer I did an internship for a real estate agency called The Kelly Group Real Estate, which expanded my love for real estate. As I have gotten older my love for kids and having my own someday has been growing, I have taught kids at church and helped out with childcare as well. I specifically loved the aspect of teaching and watching them grow in personality and intellect!

Mckenzie $20 per hour for 1 child

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile! I have worked with children and people of all ages and backgrounds and am interested in becoming a professional nanny, an occasional or regular babysitter, pet-sitter, and support-person for elders. I am glad to answer your questions and look forward to meeting you and learning more about your current needs for your loved ones in an interview. I grew up babysitting, volunteering in a church nursery, was a Reggio Emilia (arts curriculum) Afternoon Preschool Teacher in Madison, WI, a Special Education Preschool Aide in Beaverton, OR, a Site Director for YMCA's Afterschool Program in Round Rock, Texas, as well as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at Park Crest Middle School in Pflugerville, TX. I have had wonderful opportunities to live in many different places and working with children is always a worthwhile adventure. I do not have children of my own, so I treasure time with my 6 and 8-year old nephews who live here in Portland, and all the opportunities I've had to work with children professionally. I also have one-on-one experience working with a teen with developmental disabilities in Mentor Oregon's program. Working to support older folks with cooking, housework or other tasks as needed also fills my cup. Animals tend to love me as much as I love them, and I have taken care of friend's pets and homes often. I have a masters degree in divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and I bring much experience from working with many different people in churches and other places of worship through interfaith engagement. I bring management experience from working in nonprofits abroad. In Switzerland I helped to operate a community hosting adults for a work-study program, and in Kenya was a volunteer coordinator for international work teams serving the needs of preschoolers. My bachelor's degree is in cello performance, so I'm also happy to support and encourage your children with anything music-related! Besides the cello, I play the piano, guitar, and love to sing. Thank you for reading my profile and considering me as a potentially good fit to provide the care you need for your children, pets, elders, or home.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
