Hi :) my name is Sorin (they/them) and I’m a caregiver for infants, kids, seniors, and pets and can help out with household chores as well. I have been working with people of many ages and abilities for over 6 years with a bachelors in social work and CPR certification. I’ve worked at Seattle Children’s with kids and teens (5+) who have mental health and behavioral disparities, developmental and physical disabilities, and other neurodivergences. I’ve also worked with houseless young adults and adults up to 65 with mental health disparities. I also have experience working with people of all different backgrounds, (cultural, economical, non-English speaking, LGBTQ+, etc.). Although I don’t have professional experience working with infants, I do have lots of personal experience working with friend’s and family’s babies. I also may be new to the nanny scene but I am a seasoned caregiver. I am trusted, compassionate, understanding, and fun-loving. I strive to make anybody I work with feel seen and heard, I make sure what needs to be done gets done, and of course I make sure we have lots of fun along the way. With my background in working with neurodivergent kids as a behavior tech and in in-patient psych as a mental health specialist, I am very attentive to people’s needs and shifts in behaviors. I am able to read warning signs before situations escalate and if they do I know exactly what we need to do to become centered. I’ve been very into photography lately and doing photo shoots for friends or capturing wildlife in action. I love to cozy up at home with a book or my switch and a tv show on. I love making music and listening to music. I also love spending time outside swimming, hiking, camping and more.
