Leo 1 review
$32 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Alameda, CA

Hello! My name is Leo (he/him) and I am a PsyD student in Berkeley. I used to work as a paraeducator for both OUSD and AUSD before I became a full time student! I am currently/consistently babysitting for a family with a 3 year old whose primary language is Japanese. Responsibilities also include driving their child (with family’s car) to gymnastics, bring him to the park, potty training, bathing, and putting him to bed/naptime. I’ve also worked with high schoolers for 3 years and have been working with elementary schoolers for a little over a year. All of my coworkers and students would probably describe me as patient, easy going, and someone who has a good sense of humor :) I have also previously been certified as an EMT and worked as a vet tech for many years so I’ve definitely got the range of skills!

“Leo is everything we need - always on time, thorough with questions and prep, and knows how to go with the flow on everything. Leo has done everything from playing and reading with our toddler indoors, taking him to the park and on walks in the neighborhood, bike rides, bathing and dinner time, all the way to putting him down at bedtime. Our toddler takes to Leo very quickly every time and we are so grateful!”

Booked by 1 family in Alameda, CA

Hi! My name is Haley and I have been babysitting for about 8 years. I have experience caring for children of all ages. I enjoy spending time with kids, staying active, and making sure they feel safe, supported, and have fun!

“Haley was absolutely incredible with our six year old daughter. She was our “summer” nanny for 6 weeks. She cared for her safety, entertained her, was very punctual, listened to directions, made lunches, and our daughter loved her. We will miss her now that school is starting! ”

Lena 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Alameda, CA

Hi, I'm Lena! I was born and raised in San Francisco and am now a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Political Economy and Global Studies with a minor in Business. I love getting kids moving, whether that's a walk to the park, a dance party in the living room, or time outside. I'm very comfortable in the kitchen, so I'm happy to make a healthy snack or dinner and turn cooking into a fun activity. I also love tidying and will make sure the house is in great condition before parents are home! I have a younger sister and I have spent a lot of time babysitting her and her friends. I also have 4 baby cousins that I look after. I have experience with all ages and I am looking for possible reoccurring and one time care jobs. Parents can count on me to be punctual, responsible, in close communication, and to stick to your family's routines. I'd love to meet your family and can't wait to hear from you!

“Really lovely! Punctual, good communication and engaged my son immediately.”

Cody 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Alameda, CA

I’m the middle child of six, so moderating sibling conflict is something I’m extensively familiar with. This also means I have a ton of nieces and nephews, so I’ve had experience with children from infants up to high school. Arts and crafts are my jam! Anything artsy is right up my alley. I’m also reasonably good at most ball sports (don’t ask me to surf though; it’s not pretty) and like the outdoors. I’m a hands-on learner, so I try to impart any academic lessons in a fun, participation-oriented way to keep kiddos engaged. I’m also an experienced housekeeper, cook, and pet sitter (I’m a current cat servant -iykyk- and grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens, sheep, lizards, and horses).

“Cody was great. The kids had lots of fun with her. ”

$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Alameda, CA

Hi! My name is Valentina. I’m a Chilean-certified Early Childhood Teacher and Montessori Guide looking for extra babysitting, nannying, light household duties or pet care opportunities during the week and/or on weekends. I have over 5 years of experience working with children, as well as excellent recommendations from families I still keep in touch with today. I recently renewed my CPR certification for both children and adults. I’m very punctual, organized, responsible, and active. I love creating a calm, safe, and engaging environment for children, and I’m also happy to help with light household duties, such as tidying up, meal prep, or organizing things. As a vegan and animal lover, I would also be happy to be considered for pet care roles. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions

“It has been a pleasure working with Valentina and having her in our home. Not only is she punctual, but our little ones look forward to seeing her. Cannot recommend enough!”
