Hi, my name is Angelina . I am a full time educator and a part time nanny. I have 3+ years of experience working with children both in the classroom setting as well as in their own home. My passion is teaching children and guiding them to the right path. During my time as a nanny, I have taken care of children, animals and homes. During my service, I tidy up and I cook meals. WHO I AM: I am a college graduate who works part time in hospitality while living in Los Angeles, CA. I am 32 years old. MY EXPERIENCE: Working at a children's summer camp program at Sonoma State University called EXCEL, I was an Assistant Teacher for a Stage Combat class for kids ages 9-14, so I can take rough-housers and encourage them to expel energy in a safe way. I was also an Assistant Teacher for a Theatre Improv class for kids ages 6-12, for those who love to be silly, imaginative, and in the spotlight. Since joining UrbanSitter in 2013, I have experienced vomit, accidents/bed-wetting, tantrums, night terrors, and anxiety attacks while caring for children ages 12 weeks to 12 years old, and all of these challenges were overcome with care and efficiency. I have built long-term relationships with families as their primary and regular caregiver that span over several years. But most importantly, I have had the joy of experiencing hours of genuine smiles, laughter, and growth; for this reason, I look forward to every booking. MY PHILOSOPHY: Something that I respect very highly in children is individuality. I don't believe that kids can all be categorized as “just kids” - each is very different, with unique interests, values, boundaries, and comfort zones. As your family's caregiver, my commitment is to adapt to your child's individual comfort zone and personality right from the jump, and combine that with your guidelines and goals as a parent to build a personalized childcare experience. I am 20 years old, I have worked with elementary school kids in helping with math! When I was younger I would help my mother with the little ones, feeding and changing them. I love going on walks, going to the park with little ones, and doing crafts. I am also bilingual and speak Spanish. I also have a car for transportation with a clean record!

In 2018 I earned a master’s degree in School Counseling which gave me in-depth training in child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral support. After working for years in public schools in various advising/interventionist roles, I decided to apply my knowledge and skills in more flexible, hands-on settings — working directly with children and families in their homes. Hi parents, New to UrbanSitter, Santa Monica local for over 33 years, mom and USC Graduate. I have been babysitting and tutoring for over 30 years. Originally I came to the US as an Aupair when I was 18 and took care of an infant and elementary school age children. Over the years during college and graduate school here in LA I continued to provide part-time nanny and babysitter services. I have also continued to care for children of all ages when I became a mom because I love taking care of and teaching children and often watched friends’ kids and organized playdates when they were younger.
