Hi there! My name is Michaela & I am a 30 year old cis-gendered woman with many years of experience working with children. In my earlier work experience, I worked for YMCA, SF State's Day Care, as well as growing up with a mother as a kindergarten teacher who loved being in the classroom along side her. Currently, I have experience working in healthcare at Kaiser Permanente & UCSF where I gained so much knowledge about mental health, diabetes, hypertension, and more. I worked with mostly adults, which would make me a great caregiver for seniors, as well as have the compassion and empathy needed for any household. I love pets, writing/reading, and being outdoors. I am also currently building my own consulting practice and looking for stable working hours with UrbanSitter. I look forward to connecting soon!
I am a full-time personal chef working with several families in Oakland looking for additional work. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to share the joy of cooking and food with my clients' children & I often babysit for families I cook for too. I also have experience teaching gardening and cooking to students K-12.
“Cassandra was amazing. My 4 year old adored her and didn’t want her to leave. Absolutely having her watch my kiddo again. Highly recommend!”
Hi! I'm a student at Columbia University with over five years of babysitting experience and currently work as a Senior Counselor at UC Berkeley's Explorer Camp, where I've spent the past two summers working with children ages 5–6. I'm CPR certified, have a reliable car and can provide transportation if needed, and I'm happy to help with housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and other household tasks. I also grew up with multiple dogs, so I'm very comfortable caring for pets and am happy to help with them too! I'm fluent in English and comfortable speaking Spanish. I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide dependable care!
Hi, my name is Naomi and I am a student studying to be Social Worker. I am offering child care of any age, pet care and household services. I have caregiving background through both personal and professional experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am known for being reliable, patient, and kind. I care for my younger brother with autism, other children with different needs, my own child, and my dog. This has given me hands on experience with children of all ages, different needs, and pets. I provide safe, nurturing care, light housekeeping, and can also help with errands. Creating a supportive, trustworthy, and safe environment is always important. I welcome your questions and look forward to helping in any way I can :)
Hi! I began babysitting in high school and have been working with kids ever since. Throughout college, I worked at an outdoor day camp with preschool and elementary-aged kids. Upon graduating college, I got a job working as a science and garden teacher in a San Francisco elementary school, teaching classes about nature, biology, ecology, gardening, and food. I stayed in that role for 3 years and worked as a part time nanny and babysat throughout that time as well. I now work as a massage therapist in Berkeley and miss getting to work regularly with kids. When working with kids, I prioritize play, learning, and connection, but I also am confident in setting boundaries and expectations when it comes to safety and your family's rules! I have training in social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practice and feel comfortable setting those boundaries in a way that still expresses care and connection. If you have a child with music, art, or food interests, I am happy to help out with those! I have been playing jazz bass for 13 years, have spent a lot of time doing various kinds of art (and have led art weeks at camps), and have led cooking classes with kids. I have also played a lot different sports, including ultimate frisbee, soccer, water polo, lacrosse, and basketball, and would be happy to pass a ball with a sport-enthusiast. I am happy to do various tasks, including making dinner, helping with homework, getting outside, etc. I am able to drive and have a car, so I can also pick kids up/drop them off if need be. I am happy to answer any other questions you may have about my experience! Thanks!

"Caitlin was awesome and jumped right in to chaperone four girls (10, 9, 8 and 6) at a family wedding (they were bridesmaids) and she was very helpful with the event as well as taking them home and putting them to bed."
Lila P., parent

"McKenna was great with our 3 year old son! She came prepared with a box of fun activities and handled playing, dinner, and bedtime seamlessly... and it was all at our hotel while we were in town for a wedding. Thank you McKenna!"
