I am an HR Professional with a bachelor’s degree in Business yet part of me wishes I had an educational background to work with children. So babysitting gives me the opportunity to do what I enjoy the most! I was an urbansitter nanny all throughout college in San Francisco as my one and only job for 5 years. I cared for children of all ages, from 3 months - 14 years old. My long term families were for children ages 1-5 and 11-14. In addition to my own work experience, I grew up at home with a family childcare, thus I am comfortable being around up to 8 children at once since my mother is a licensed childcare provider. I currently babysit a 4 year old once a week (Jan 2024 - today) My favorite part about babysitting is teaching children through play. It’s rewarding to see a child grow and see how much they learn along the way. I have a tight schedule but if I am available to babysit on weekends and weekday evenings.
