Instead of emphasizing the negative side or outcome of an unwanted behavior, I focus on redirecting each child towards healthy alternative activities, tasks, or desirable behaviors. By refraining from saying, "No", I strive to put more attention on a desired behavior. I am very patient and I absolutely love learning. With that I would say that patience plays a major role when both learning and caring for children. I absolutely aspire for children to feel safe, heard, and loved in result making myself available to all their emotional, physical and mental needs to the best of my expertise. As for regulating children's emotions, I guide them to slow down and respond to situations in a calm manner.
