Hi! I’m offering part time childcare, senior care, home care and pet care as services. I’ve been a Lake Tahoe Westshore resident for the past 11 years. My husband and I moved here from Eagle, CO just in time for our daughter to start 1st grade. She’s now a senior at North Tahoe High School. She’s been involved with the cheer and tennis programs but loves the snowboarding winter program the most. We also have two beautiful sisters we are currently a Resource Family for ages 17 & 11. I come from a large family of 7 siblings whom all have children of their own. I’ve taken care of plenty of children from newborn to teenagers. We have an 8 year old German shepherd who absolutely loves the winter but hates bikes and bears. :) My 82 year old Father in law is widowed and retired so we moved him in with us 6 years ago. My nephew also resides with us as we’ve helped raise him since infancy. I was a Communications and Theatre major in College. I’m currently a licensed Real Estate agent in CA and NV. I absolutely love children of all ages. I love to cook and I’m good with everyday housework and have plenty of experience in all aspects of home care. I love everything outdoors to biking, walking, swimming, paddle boarding or just time playing at the beach or on the mountain. I am a current licensed Placer County Resource Parent (Foster Family ) which includes CPR/AED:Adult,Children,Infant + First Aid (BLS) Certification.

I work at Northstar as a supervisor in the Ski & Ride School during the winter and as a mountain bike coach in the Bike Park during the summer. I love working with kids of all ages! In total, I have 20 years of experience working with children including babysitting, substitute teaching, camp counseling, outdoor education, ski instructing, and mountain bike coaching. Hi there, I'm Rachel from Australia. I've worked with children for 15 years whilst travelling the world and absolutely love it! My experience includes: - Summer Camp Counsellor at Mountain Camp in California where I lived with, and was responsible for a cabin of 10 girls. I led outdoor activities including yoga, dance and drama, ropes course, lake activities and biking and hiking for children between 5 - 13 years old. - Teaching Assistant in the UK at a private school (Gad's Hill) working with children aged 3 - 16. This included assisting with daycare, english, math, art classes, taking swimming lessons and after school care. - Casual nannying jobs looking after infants - 15 year olds. - Ski instructing in Canada for 5 - 17 year olds. I have my level 2 CSIA ski instructor certification so can provide ski lessons and on-mountain care, depending on your child's ability level. I'm a big kid at heart and relate very easily with children, I'm also organised and believe that some structure can be really important.
