Hi! I’m a 24-year-old childcare professional and a recent graduate of Towson University. I have 8 years of babysitting experience caring for amazing kids anywhere from 3 months all the way up to 13 years old! On top of babysitting, I also work as a YMCA counselor and camp counselor, and I absolutely LOVE children!!! :) I am super big on keeping things safe, structured, and reliable for parents, while making sure the kids are always having fun, staying active, and staying engaged. Whether it's playing creative camp games, diving into arts and crafts, or maintaining a solid bedtime routine, I love bringing high energy and absolute peace of mind to every family I work with!

I am a second-oldest sibling to 6 (one older sister!) and a private music teacher for all ages! In addition to regular care, I am happy to provide voice, piano and string lessons. I’m happy to do sitting in the mornings before work and open to date nights/ overnight depending on the circumstances.

I love taking care of creative kids who like drawing, building, dancing, playing hide and seek or using their imagination to play. But I also enjoy going to the playground and having a good outdoor time. I like pets and do not have any type of allergies. I am a responsible caregiver, a good friend for the kids and I make sure to clean any mess that can exist as a result of our games. As a nanny, I make sure to communicate any questions and update the parents often to make sure they know everything is going well! In the same way, I appreciate clarity in the instructions parents can give me. Every child is different so I know I need time to get to know them and for them to get to know me. That's why I am patient with the process and open to learn quickly. I am ready to start mid February. First language Spanish but fluent in English.

I recently moved to Highland Park and will be starting my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Rutgers (New Brunswick) this September. At the moment, I am only looking for occasional babysitting jobs. Before moving to NJ this summer, I lived in New York City for five years while completing my master’s degree at Columbia University and working in the field of youth mental health. My education in Clinical Psychology, along with my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Development from UC Davis, has given me a strong understanding of child development, behavior, and children’s needs. I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. I’ve had numerous part-time nanny and babysitting jobs with children ranging from newborns to 15 years old. I also worked as a camp counselor for many years and as a math and reading tutor. I’m happy to help with homework, tutoring, and even college applications. I am reliable, extremely empathetic, kind, and funny, and I easily connect with kids to create a fun and safe environment. Lastly, I am a big animal lover and am open to pet sitting jobs as well!
