I’ve received in person guided and hands on training/instruction and certification in both adult and infant First Aid and CPR. I’m the middle child of three children, and one of 22 grandchildren in my family so I am very accustomed to being surrounded by young children running around! My mother has worked as an early childhood educator/administrator my entire life. Many of the tactics she utilized in her classroom were the same ones she used raising my siblings and I. I’ve learned much of what I use in childcare from her, including helping the young ones with their coursework! I'm a NYC native that has lived and worked as a nanny in both NYC and LA. I graduated from NYU with a BA in Creative Writing and minored in Early Childhood Education - which has benefited me greatly in my time spent with kids! I grew up in a small town in Missouri and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. I graduated with a degree in Theatre. I am the oldest in my family and took care of my younger brothers, as well as younger cousins, growing up. From age 13 through high school, I babysat for a local family who had six kids all between the ages of 7 and newborn. I taught dance through high school and my first two years of college. I taught 3-5 year olds as well as pre-teens and teenagers. I am happy to help with homework and projects or anything else they may need!
