Hi! My name is Emmanuelle, but my friends call me "Emmi!" Over 5 years of experience as nanny! I just graduated from Boston University with degrees in journalism and international relations. While produce my own podcast about sexual violence and am applying to jobs in the communication industry, I am looking for consistent work. I live between NYC and Boston, and can be flexible with my location depending on your needs! I am passionate about visual media and have produced a few films. In my free time I love to cook and explore cuisine to immerse myself in different cultures. A dream of mine is to curate a private experience restaurant with my older brother at our home in Normandy, France. For the past couple of years I have been a production intern for theater, photography and marketing companies. Besides that I have several years of experience working as a server and hostess at a Black owned pie company in NYC and the Hillstone. Finally, I have worked at several schools including an after school theatre program in Boston and a Montessori pre-school in a low income neighborhood in the South Bronx. , I also worked as a co-teacher at a small Montessori pre-school in the South Bronx–a low-income neighborhood in NYC. I have cared for and babysat and children between the ages of 4 months and 14 years old in individual and group contexts. I have been accountable for leading group activities and games including arts and crafts, 'read aloud,' and outdoor excursions; as well as tending to home-care such as meal preparation, bed-time, diaper changing, and cleaning. I am a well-trusted neighborhood babysitter in NYC with many references to offer! My relationship with my family, pets and babysitters informs my love language and spark for caregiving. Thank you for inviting me into your unique lives, I look forward to creating friendships around trust to help you! Please feel free to connect with me by phone or email to learn more about what I can do for you and about my versatile experiences growing up in NYC and Paris which inform many elements of who I am, down to my sense of fashion and humor!
Hello! I would describe myself as patient, friendly, understanding, reliable, and great with kids :) Feel free to ask for the contact info of my references! As of right now, I am the regular sitter for 4-year old & 10-month old sisters. I am seeking occasional/one-time jobs for when I have availability. I previously worked at Breindy Active Fitness. I would watch 2-8 kids at once, all under 3, and many were newborns. I have experience playing with children, calming them from tears, feeding them, changing diapers, reading with/to children, night-time & day-time routines, and more. In my senior year of high school I interned at the Jewish Community Center Day Care. I was a teacher aide for a classroom of 5 year olds. One of the kids had special needs. In high school, I was a part of a club that contained kids with autism and kids without autism. We did many different bonding activities together that exercised my capacity for patience and understanding. I raised with a dog and a cat in the house for over 12 years and consistently took care of them. I often dog sit/cat sit/house sit for my friends when they are on a trip. I grew up very active and played on the Volleyball, Swim, and Rugby Teams at school. I also danced ballet for 10+ years. I love arts & crafts and playing! Also my major was English Literature, so I love stories and reading.
I will add more to this later I cat sit and have for many years. I also foster and have done that for 10 years in New York City! I love cats and can also give medications
Hi there! My name is Emily and I am a house manager and nanny and I love my job! I have four years of full-time experience in childcare, providing attentive and professional care to children of various ages. Beyond traditional babysitting, I have also worked as a personal assistant, managing household and family-related tasks with efficiency and discretion. I have also just completed a year training and working as a co-teacher at a nature-based preschool. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, in the entertainment industry and know how to be discreet and professional. Before nannying I worked in the entertainment industry and know the protocols for being on set or in a professional environment. My responsibilities have included creating engaging and educational activities, maintaining daily routines, assisting with schoolwork, coordinating schedules, and handling errands to support the family's needs. My experience has given me strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask effectively. Whether managing a child’s day-to-day activities or ensuring a household runs smoothly, I bring professionalism, warmth, and reliability to every role.
Hi Families! I'm Ella, I'm 22 years old, and a recent graduate from the University of Connecticut. I moved to NYC from Charlotte, NC this past August to pursue my career in publishing at Penguin Random House. I used to be a swim coach working with lots of children ranging from ages 3-17 for a summer swim team! I also have plenty of experience providing private and group swim lessons. I have babysat for multiple families and am comfortable running errands, pet sitting/ dog walking, prepping meals, pickups and drop offs and helping with homework for afterschool! I used to be an English major and now work all the time with books and would love to share my love for reading with your kids! I also am very comfortable with dogs and cats! I have two cats and grea up with dogs. I am very responsible and a hard worker. New York is very difficult to afford, I want to babysit or petsit for an additional income. Because I work a 9-5, my hours are limited, but if you have any consistent or inconsistent babysitting needs that aligns with this, please let me know!
