I am a Portland State University graduate with a bachelors of arts in Social Science, minor in psychology and Spanish. I have worked as a Girl Scouts summer activities leader for 23 girls grades first-fourth. As an activities leader, I facilitated science, art and life skills/healthy living. I love creating safe spaces for children to express themselves and be creative. I am a very family oriented person. I am the oldest of three and have spent a lot of my time helping my family raise the small ones in our family. I am currently only available Friday afternoons and weekends. I have volunteered within children's ministries and am an Oregon Humane animal shelter volunteer. I am also going to be volunteering within the Lake Oswego School District. I work for a college M-F so am mostly available on the weekend. I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Science and rode on the Dressage Team while I was a student. Later I earned my MBA while working full time. Hi! After successfully completing my time in the Navy, I'm currently working as a Field Service Engineer at a tech company but want to save more money for college and law school. Growing up, I took care of my sister off and on while my parents were out. When I turned 15, I started working as a lifeguard at my hometown's water park. And when I was 19, I worked for 6 months as a lifeguard at Disney World's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Contemporary Resort. I have spent most of my life taking care of kids and keeping them entertained but safe. I really enjoyed that work and hope I can achieve that again for you and your child.
