Hi! I’m Nika. Pronounced “Knee-ka.” I’m 25 years old and originally from Tennessee, but I’ve been living in North Carolina since 2022 and absolutely love it here. I’m currently a college student pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, with over 50 credit hours completed so far. After moving to NC, I became an assistant teacher at a preparatory academy, working with toddlers (12–16 months) on walking, speech, and fine motor development. I then started as lead toddler teacher (ages 12–23 months) at a preschool before switching with a coworker to lead the pre-K classroom (ages 3–4). Hey I’m Annie! After graduating from East Carolina University in 2017, I began working as an EMT for 3 years and also obtained my BLS certification. I then began working in the dental field and am just trying to pick up extra work to do during my off time. I have a lot of community service experience where I served as a mentor to a child, volunteered as a camp counselor for children with special needs, as well as volunteered in an after school program as a tutor.
