In addition to raising and homeschooling my children, I was a licensed foster parent for 3 years, I served as the Girl Scout leader for my children's troop in 2[removed]. I currently work as the children's church teacher at my church, work part time at The Boys and Girls Club and volunteer volleyball coach upper elementary and middle school girls. I have facilitated several children's programs in Snohomish County through Millennia Ministries as well. I adore children and have two boys myself which I feel is enough for me. I enjoy playing with them especially under 5 when they are cute and fun. But at the end at the day, I would prefer to return to their parents. I can be gentle yet firm for children that like to test boundaries- it allows me to be creative, playful and enjoy seeing their little wheels spinning when I interact with them. In addition, I like pets, but my household have allergy to pet dander so this is one way I can get my baby/ pet fix without having to raise them.

Retired now but before I was a dedicated professional with over 15 years experience in providing comprehensive services to general/ special needs children of various ages mostly one to one. I also have a background in behavioral management and curriculum development. Eight years experience in pet/house sitting around the world. Six years of Camp Counselor and instructor in wilderness survival and camping with youth. In addition, I have 4 years of experience in Sailing Charters as a 1st Mate and 3 years experience in Landscaping/ general yard maintenance. Those are the large parts amongst many other hats I’ve worn throughout my years. I hold a MA in Special Needs Education specifically with the deaf and/or blind and a BA in Elementary Education K-6.
