I have been a nanny for over 12 years and about 8 years ago I transitioned into the corporate world. I am missing all the silly times with my little people and would like some occasional jobs to keep me engaged and having fun! I have a ton of energy and can keep up with any child or large families. I love animals as well! I have had quite a few cooking jobs and I don't sit very well for too long. So, if a baby is sleeping... I am cleaning or prepping food :) My minimum is 4 hours of work, so if you come home early, I still get paid for 4 hours. Thank you.

Hello! My name is Radiya and I am a college student studying Biomedical Science. I’m also an avid baker and food enthusiast! I grew up as the youngest sibling for almost thirteen years until my little brother was finally born. Since my older siblings were in college and very busy and both of my parents were employed, I shared responsibilities of taking care of my younger brother since high school. I also have an abundant amount of younger cousins that I would babysit so I’ve grown up around children my whole life and am very comfortable caring for kids of all ages. I have two cats at home so I am experienced with feeding cats, cleaning litters, etc. I don’t have much experience with dogs, but as long as they gets to know me and are relatively calm, I don’t mind being in the company of any dogs!

Please call me Jodi. I love kids of all ages and believe they are unique and special, everyone with something to offer. I raised three kids myself and our house was the neighborhood hub. My three grandkids, who I'm very close to, are grown now. I manage an 80-unit apartment building in Shoreline and live onsite. I love music and reading, including kid stuff, all ages. I don't jump rope anymore, but I can do a mean cat's cradle and anyone who loves to color, I can sit with for hours. I'm all for trips to the park, beach, reading books (out loud or listening to someone practice), nature walks; I'll run into the kiddie pool for a rescue but not willing to swim with the kids. I'm into nutrition but am not militant about yours; willing to cook basic meals but not interested in being a master chef. I do a lot of driving and am ticket/accident-free. I don't mind pets (I have a 6-pound chihuahua mix, Penny Lane, who will be 7 years old in Dec 2026). Light chores like laundry, dishes etc, but kids are my priority. I look after your kids when you're not there; I don't babysit for WFH parents or someone who wants to watch a movie in the next room. Until recently I looked after an 12-year-old girl who is on the spectrum, and I also cared for her older brother for several years (he is now 15 and pretty independent). I've looked after the girl since she was 4 years old. The care included school pick-ups, taking her to therapy and various afterschool classes and on Wednesdays she would spend the afternoon from 1 - 5 with me, usually at my home. She has, sadly, aged out, and will be taking the bus going forward. I will still be seeing these children for "date nights" and the mother is very happy to chat with anyone interested in hiring me. She has already given me a review on UrbanSitter. I am looking for a job that would primarily be after-school pick up, any day of the week. I spent my freshmen and Sophomore year (2[removed]) at college working with preschool English language learners. From 2015 to 2018 I worked at Green Tree Early Education center in Downtown Seattle. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Early Education, I went for a Masters in Computer Science from Northeastern University. During my corporate career, I worked EST which allowed me to be an afterschool nanny/manny starting during the pandemic. I have worked with 7 different families and my undergraduate education was focused on infants and toddlers. Most of my experience is in transitional care / mothers helper while the families are on a waitlist for childcare centers. However my most recent experience was as a nanny/manny for two boys with Autism Spectrum disorder.
