I am hoping to find a few families that I can babysit for consistently so myself, and the kids and parents alike can be comfortable and confident. I have previously volunteered as a tutor of varying ages (5-13), and helped take care of my nephew who is now 10 years old. I am BLS certified and knowledgeable on basic first aid (though not certified in that). Hello! My name is Celia. I am a college student at Gonzaga University. I am a psychology major passionate about working with children of all ages! My background is in nursing. This included care of the elderly within a hospital and nursing home environment. I was also a volunteer dining room server at a local senior center. As an animal caregiver it has been my passion since the passing of one of my pets. Shelter volunteering was a way to give back to the community and gain valued experiences with animals. Working as a volunteer at a shelter clinic inspired my enthusiasm for learning different aspects of pre and post op care. My duties were to record vital signs, administer subcutaneous fluids, and medications, in addition to monitoring animals until conscious. Presently, I foster kittens and cats for a local shelter, preparing them for adoption. Many are medically / socially challenged.
