About this babysitting job
Dad new to Lakeland seeking a warm, patient, emotionally intelligent part-time nanny/educator for two sweet, respectful and independent girls, ages 7 and 4. Teaching experience is highly preferred, especially substitute teachers, tutors, teacher assistants or education majors. My girls love learning, asking questions, arts & crafts and being outdoors. They have limited screen time and enjoy our community pool, shaded playground, soccer field and walking track. I’d love someone who enjoys teaching reading and math, encourages curiosity and challenges their critical-thinking skills rather than simply giving them answers. Light help with meals, the girls’ laundry and tidying is appreciated. I’m currently interviewing and starting with occasional paid trial periods, not promising a permanent schedule yet. If we’re a great fit, this could develop into a consistent long-term role.
