About this nanny job

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and patient nanny to provide after-school care for our sweet son, who has special needs and lots of energy. The ideal caregiver would arrive at our home around **4:00 PM** and be available until approximately **5:00 PM**. His school bus typically arrives by **4:30 PM**, and the main responsibility will be meeting him at the bus, helping him safely transition home, and keeping him engaged and supervised until a parent is available. Our son is a **sweet, loving, energetic kid** who enjoys being active and having someone to interact with. We are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, attentive, and comfortable working with a child who may need additional patience, structure, and support. **Responsibilities include:** - Arriving at our home around 4:00 PM - Meeting our son at the school bus when he arrives (by approximately 4:30 PM) - Safely helping him transition from the bus into the home - Providing attentive supervision and engaging activities - Helping maintain a calm and positive after-school routine - Being patient, caring, and responsive to his individual needs **Ideal candidate:** - Reliable and punctual - Warm, patient, and nurturing - Comfortable caring for a child with special needs - Energetic and willing to engage with an active child - Responsible and safety-conscious - Prior experience with special needs children is preferred, but we are open to the right person We are hoping to find someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family's routine. We would love to find a caregiver who genuinely enjoys working with children and can provide a positive, caring presence for our son.
