Part-Time In-Home Infant Caregiver — Tigard, OR We’re looking for a warm, dependable, experienced caregiver for our infant son, Jori. We hope to find someone who genuinely enjoys caring for babies and will provide attentive, nurturing care in our home. Schedule & Duration Three days per week, eight hours per day (24 hours weekly), for approximately four months beginning in mid-October. Exact days and start/end times can be discussed. A parent may be home working during your shift. We need someone comfortable independently managing Jori’s care so we can focus on work, while maintaining open communication with us. Responsibilities Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and naps. Follow our agreed-upon feeding and sleep routines, including safe-sleep practices. Engage Jori through age-appropriate interaction, reading, talking, and supervised tummy time. Keep us updated on feedings, naps, diaper changes, and any concerns. Handle light baby-related cleanup, such as washing bottles and tidying his care areas. This position is focused on Jori—not general housekeeping or care for our older children. Qualifications We’re seeking someone with hands-on experience caring for infants under six months, current infant CPR and first-aid certification, and strong childcare references. Candidates should be willing to complete a background check and have reliable transportation to our home. Patience, punctuality, attentiveness, and clear communication are important to us. We value someone who respects our parenting preferences, follows safety practices, and feels comfortable asking questions.
