Babysitter Needed | Evening Care for 8-Year-Old Hi! I’m looking for a reliable, responsible, and experienced babysitter for my 8-year-old son. Here are a few details about the position: * Hours: Approximately 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. * Bedtime: My son typically goes to bed around 7:30 PM, so a portion of the evening will be spent supervising while he sleeps. * Responsibilities: Light supervision, helping him follow his evening routine, and ensuring he’s safe and comfortable. No housekeeping or additional duties required. * Medical: My son has asthma. I have an established asthma care protocol and will provide instructions and everything needed in case of an issue. * Pets: We have a cat in the home. No pet care is required, but please be comfortable around cats. * Parking/Transportation: Street parking is available. If transportation is a concern, please let me know. I’m open to assisting with Uber arrangements. * Location: Chicago, South Loop area. I’m looking for someone who is dependable, attentive, comfortable with children, and able to follow established routines. Home Setup: My son sleeps in the living room and is a very sound sleeper. Once he's asleep around 7:30 PM, you're welcome to watch TV, use your phone, or relax in the living area while supervising him. CPR/First Aid certification preferred Please include your availability, hourly rate, and relevant childcare experience when reaching out. I’d love to make the process as straightforward as possible.
