About this nanny job

We are looking for a caring, energetic and dependable nanny to look after our 13-month-old son. This is a long-term role, and we ask for a commitment of at least one year. Position Overview Start date: November 16, 2026 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pay: $23–$25 per hour, depending on experience Commitment: At least one year Location: In our home, a three-story townhouse. Free parking is available. Responsibilities Feed and change the baby, and put him down for naps. Play with him and keep him engaged and stimulated throughout the day. Do light housekeeping related to the baby, such as washing bottles and dishes and tidying his play area. Keep him safe and supervised at all times. Most of the day will be spent at home. You will not need to drive the baby anywhere. Requirements Experience caring for infants or toddlers around one year old. At least one professional reference. Your own reliable transportation to our home. Local applicants are preferred. Comfort going up and down stairs throughout the day. Punctuality and a strong commitment to the child’s safety and well-being. Time Off Nanny PTO: 5 paid days off per year, requested with at least two weeks’ notice. Family time off: When our family is away and you are not needed, the first 5 days each year are unpaid. Any days beyond those 5 are paid. We will give you at least two weeks’ notice.
