Hello Parents! *Available for weekend and occasional care in the 2025-26 school year.* My name is Laurel. I really enjoy being a nanny and babysitting. I am very engaging with children and we have tons of fun together. This past year I have been a nanny for an adorable three year old girl in Park Slope. I will be continuing with them in the fall. I will have availability for weekend and occasional care during the upcoming 2025-26 school year. I have experience with a range of ages from toddlers to preteens. I’ve got a great sense of humor and can be playful. I truly enjoy reading stories to kids. My current favorites are the Frog and Toad books. I can help your older child with homework too. I’m very patient, kind, creative and reliable. I have experience with neurodivergent kids, including ADHD and those on the autism spectrum. As a native New Yorker I’m familiar with the public parks, playgrounds, libraries and kid friendly museums. I’m comfortable taking kids on the bus or subway. I’m LGBTQIA+ friendly, CPR/First Aid Certified and Youth Mental Health First Aid trained. I’m a non smoker and Covid vaccinated and boosted. I recently had a MMR booster as well. I’m comfortable around pets and enjoy their company. Reach out if you think I might be a good fit for your family. I’d be happy to talk with you on a video call about your childcare needs.

Hello! I would describe myself as patient, friendly, understanding, reliable, and great with kids :) Feel free to ask for the contact info of my references! As of right now, I am the regular sitter for 4-year old & 10-month old sisters. I am seeking occasional/one-time jobs for when I have availability. I previously worked at Breindy Active Fitness. I would watch 2-8 kids at once, all under 3, and many were newborns. I have experience playing with children, calming them from tears, feeding them, changing diapers, reading with/to children, night-time & day-time routines, and more. In my senior year of high school I interned at the Jewish Community Center Day Care. I was a teacher aide for a classroom of 5 year olds. One of the kids had special needs. In high school, I was a part of a club that contained kids with autism and kids without autism. We did many different bonding activities together that exercised my capacity for patience and understanding. I raised with a dog and a cat in the house for over 12 years and consistently took care of them. I often dog sit/cat sit/house sit for my friends when they are on a trip. I grew up very active and played on the Volleyball, Swim, and Rugby Teams at school. I also danced ballet for 10+ years. I love arts & crafts and playing! Also my major was English Literature, so I love stories and reading.
Hi! My name is Ciara and I am 30 years old. I was raised in NYC and I have been babysitting for the past 15 years. I have babysitting experience with children ages 4months-14 years old. I am CPR certified in all ages. I am currently a licensed 5th year School Counselor in a DOE public school so I have immense experience working with kids ages 3-18 years old. Additionally, I was a nanny to a family with a 4 month old who I cared for 5 days a week, including morning and bedtime routine. I was with them for a year. My love for babysitting as well as my choice to be a School Counselor is because I believe every child deserves to have guidance in their life and someone that they feel comfortable approaching for help during their childhood years. I am very outgoing, I love to laugh and have fun all whilst being responsible and caring. I am a very determined and motivated person, as well as great at both receiving and giving direction. I am also trustworthy and have social. I can cook and help with homework as well. Please feel free to reach out to me for my resume or more about me! Thank you.
Hi! My name is Iman, and I have a genuine passion for working with children. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a daycare, a school, and currently in an after-school program, where I care for children of different ages. I also earned my Early Childhood Development certification, which has given me a strong understanding of child development and how to create a safe, supportive environment for kids to learn and grow. I would describe myself as bubbly, patient, dependable, and responsible. I love planning fun activities, encouraging creativity, and helping children build confidence while making sure they always feel safe, happy, and cared for. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, trying new restaurants, listening to music, and exploring new places. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your children, and I always do my best to build strong, open relationships with the families I work with through honesty, communication, and reliability. I would truly love the opportunity to support your family and provide the best care possible for your children. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! My name is Andrea and I’m a lifeguard and a swim instructor at the YMCA. I’m certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. I also have an extra certification in teaching kids with disabilities such as ADHD or autism. I’ve been a swim instructor at the ymca for about two years now and have taught kids of different ages and backgrounds. I understand how draining it can be to take care of kids, which is why I’d like to be of help to parents who are overworked or even might just need some time for self-care. I also have a lot of experience with pets and especially cats. I've done a lot of research about pet care on my own time since I own two cats who I greatly care for. I’m definitely open to feeding, walking, or playing with pets. They deserve just as much attention and time as kids! I can cook as well but I am more confident when it comes to vegan/vegetarian recipes. However, I’m open to learning any new kinds of recipes that are out of my comfort zone.
Hi! My name is Sivan, and I'm a recent Hunter College graduate. I have 14 nieces and nephews so I have been caring for children ever since I was young. I worked as a daycare substitute from 2[removed] and as a lifeguard in the summers, and nannied 2021-22. From 2022-2023 I worked full time at a day school before returning to college full-time. I graduate in the spring and am looking for part-time nannying that may potentially become full-time post graduation. Most of my experience is with newborns to age 4, but I have cared for children ages 6-11 in the past. I don't mind light housekeeping, pet care, and cooking, and am able to do school drop-off and pickup. I believe in honesty and communication with both parents and children.
