Hi my name is Reyanna and I love working with children. I have experience being a behavioral therapist along with a para. I love to see children’s growth and I am looking forward to potentially working with you all!
Hi families! I am a mom of 2. One is a toddler and the other is 17! So I am patience-tested & approved! I spent several years as a stay-at-home-mom while volunteering at kid's school and occasionally substitute teaching. I previously worked as a "Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped" in NYC public schools and an Early Intervention therapist and a soecial education preschool teacher in Florida. I got sidetracked reentering the workforce with a breast cancer diagnosis but now I am cancer free and ready to work! I've met other urban sitter caregivers at my local library and I think this would be a great fit! I love children and I promise yours will be in good hands whether we're reading , playing legos or trains, going to the playground. Babies? yes, please! I'm a pro hip- bopper. I love to cook, make art, nature and finding new children's books with the perfect amount of text and simple illustration - However I love kids reading anything appropriate. I also love exploring the city and finding interesting events to attend.
I am a single mother of 3 grown kids. Two are away at college, the other is a HS Junior and is never home. I am basically an empty nester. I miss having young kids around and I am looking to make some extra money to help with expenses. I am available most evenings and weekends. I especially love babies and toddlers. I also have a dog and am comfortable with pets. I am also happy to assist with elderly for companionship as well as errands. I was an elementary school teacher as well as a pre-school teacher for many years. I changed careers yrs ago because as a single income household my teaching salary was not enough. I work in the financial services industry currently from 8-4 daily.
Hi! I'm Irlanda, a caring, dependable, and energetic childcare professional with over 8 years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children. I've worked as both a Teacher Assistant and Head Teacher in early childhood education, where I've planned engaging activities, supported children's development, and built strong relationships with families. I'm also completing my Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), which has strengthened my communication skills and understanding of child development. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play, exploration, and creativity. Whether we're reading stories, doing arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, or working on age-appropriate learning activities, I strive to make every child feel supported and encouraged. Families describe me as patient, responsible, organized, and easy to communicate with. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, preparing meals and snacks, helping with bedtime routines, and keeping parents updated throughout the day. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while ensuring their little ones feel happy, safe, and cared for.

Hi! My name is Lourdes, I am looking for one time + part time babysitting gigs for now - onward. Happy to discuss my available hours! Since September 2021, I have experience with kids from 3 months - 14 years old. I also have extensive experience with pet + house sitting (cats and dogs). For my longest term gig, from December 2021 - February 2023 I was a part-time nanny for a family in the West Village with 3 children (ages 6-12) and supported with tasks such as school pick up, meal prep, bedtime, packing, homework assistance, emotional support, ubering around, light housekeeping, and traveled with them internationally. Whilst working with them, I also was able to develop relationships with other families within their school community, a total of 6 other families who would be able to, and to this day, ask for help when needed. I've been described as fun, creative, crafty, and very quick on my feet, I'm a great multitasker. I've also been described as the family "vibe checker", I'm always looking to brighten up the energy in a room. I am currently in school full time to finish my BA in Film Production and Classical / Latin Studies. I speak fluent Italian and Spanish, and am developing a career as an actor and film producer. I am a big advocate for the arts and would love to share my love for reading / painting / singing with whomever I'm babysitting. Additionally, I am an entrepreneur running my social media marketing agency during the day. I’m also the oldest of four sisters, if that’s any reassurance, and have also done school drop off, pick up, and meal prep with them. I love cooking and am also comfortable tidying up with dishes and meal prep. My Linkedin is the same as my name here. Happy to provide references. Hope to meet you soon!

I’m Mariana. I’m 27 and I was an Au Pair for almost 3 years in the US, where I took care of kids from 3 to 11 years old and them I worked as a full time nanny for a family and took care of a 2 year old. I’m currently getting my master’s degree. Before I became an Au Pair, I was an English teacher in Colombia, where I taught kids, teens and adults. I speak Spanish, English and basic French. I’m very clean and I encourage the kids to always help me clean up their toys and to be as independent as possible. I’ve also worked as a petsitter, and I absolutely love animals. I grew up in a farm with lots of dogs, bunnies, chickens and parrots so I have a lot of practice. I also have experience caring for seniors since I grew up with my grandparents, so I think I’m not just a nanny, but I’m a caregiver of all sorts.
Hello all! I’m Nia, a Hunter College graduate with over 8 years of experience caring for children from ages 1 to 12. Caring for kids is something I genuinely love, and I focus on bringing warmth, high energy, and a safe, nurturing environment to every family I work with. My experience includes years of summer camp counseling and babysitting. I love being active with kids; whether that's creative arts & crafts, puzzles, outdoor play, or helping with homework. I also love animals and am always happy to help with pet care or light household organizing to keep your day running smoothly. I'm reliable, punctual, and communicative, and I’d love to support your family! Looking forward to connecting :)

I love working with kids and being outdoors. I am vaccinated and boosted. I have a little experience in tutoring and am a recent college graduate. I would be able to help out with homework as necessary. I am almost fluent in Spanish. I feel very confident in working with children with special needs. I have experience being an aquatic therapist and teaching kids with various disabilities how to swim. Additionally, I was a social coach in high school and worked with students with special needs in helping them with homework, teaching them social skills, and job skills. I have been a lifeguard for 5 years and have my CPR certification. I have taught swim lessons to all age groups as young as 2 and as old as 18. I have taken a babysitting course at the Seattle Childrens when I was younger and have babysat quite a bit over the years. I also was part of a program in college to volunteer with homeless children at an after school program. This included serving them dinner, helping with homework and some fun activities. I have always loved dogs and have been around them my whole life. I feel very confident working with dogs of any size/breed. I volunteered at a dog shelter for many years and have had experience with timid and active dogs. As for cleaning, I have always helped around the house with chores and am willing to clean anything given the proper supplies.
Hi my name is Alyssa I'm currently a student at Hunter college looking for a way to gain more experience with kids as I am juggling between possible careers of an elementary school teacher or a small animal vet. I offer child care preferable toddler age to elementary school age. I enjoy babysitting kids I love to think of it as hanging out with them rather than being bossy. During the summer I work as a camp counselor, for 2 years I babysat a 5 year old girl afterschool, and I worked with a toddler for occasional weekends. I am familiar with traveling with children to any activities but I cannot drive as yet. I enjoy cartoons, being outside, drawing and painting. I love to think of myself as a fun and loving person. I am pet friendly as I do have two cats and hopefully a dog in the future. A secret plus if you do have a dog, I would love to walk your dog its enjoyable to me.

Hi! I'm Shadiyah – a warm, dependable, and experienced caregiver. I'm 34 years old, a proud Hunter College graduate, and a devoted mother to a teenage daughter who's now off following her dreams at boarding school in San Francisco. My passion for caretaking began in childhood, inspired by my grandmother’s nurturing example. Over the years, I’ve cared for many families across different communities, supporting children of all ages. In addition to babysitting, my responsibilities have included meal prep, light housekeeping, homework help, and transportation to and from after-school activities. I bring over a decade of experience working in the New York City public school system (Pre-K–12), along with more than 5 years in child welfare. These roles have equipped me with a deep understanding of children’s developmental and emotional needs. I believe in balancing structure with play and love creating fun, educational activities that support both learning and creativity. I use positive discipline and gentle guidance, but I can be assertive when needed. I'm also a lifelong animal lover and pet owner—currently the proud mom of a sweet dog—so I’m happy to care for furry friends as well. It brings me great joy to support a child's growth, exploration, and imagination. I’d be honored to be part of your family's journey and look forward to meeting you soon!
