*currently based in Los Angeles for the summer (July 1-August 5) With over 5 years of experience caring for one family, I developed strong childcare skills, including managing routines, and keeping kids entertained through engaging activities. I also have experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins in my big family. I moved for to the Bay Area/Berkeley for college, which led me to transition from my previous long-term position. I’m reliable, nurturing, and love helping kids grow! I am able to drive kiddos around in the family’s car and run errands if needed! I don’t own a car in the Bay Area
“Amazing! Great communication, showed up on time, responsive, great with with daughter, reliable, super sweet, would definitely hire again.”
Hi! I'm Yalili. I bring a warm, structured approach to childcare—whether it's story time, arts and crafts, or helping with routines. I'm bilingual (English/Spanish), patient, and attentive to each child's unique personality and needs. I also love encouraging little ones' curiosity and supporting busy parents however I can. Whether you're looking for someone part-time, occasional, or backup care, I’d love to support your family with love, structure, and reliability.
Hello! Ive been working with children my entire working life. I began teaching swimming lessons to infants through pre-teens, babysitting infants-toddlers, and working as a high school mentor before going to college. I got a degree in Spanish literature and language in WA state (University of Puget Sound) and taught middle and high school in Andorra as a Fulbright fellow (borders Spain and France). After returning to the US, I went to Stanford to get my Masters in Education and worked with students for seven years across the Bay Area. I now work as a preschool/infant Montessori style educator/nanny, mentor, tutor, and educational consultant, in addition to pursuing my art in fusion dance and vocal performance. I love children, believe it is a life mission to help them feel understood and empowered, and have been described as quite the "Mary Poppins" advice, lullabies, and giant bag included :-) **Update: While I am currently looking for part-time and/or tutoring help, I am also available for occasional babysitting on the weekends/week nights!
Hello! I'm Linda — a trained classical singer, Montessori-informed, and 10-year nanny who genuinely loves the kiddos! I love their hilarious personalities, and believe the care and attention we give them early on shapes everything they become. (Most experience with infants and toddlers) SF native now located in North Oakland, I hold a BA from UC Davis alongside child development coursework — and I'm inspired in my work by Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan, who remind me that nurturing a child's full potential through care, structure, and encouragement is everything. My approach is firm but loving: building trust through warmth, calm guidance, and patience — guiding behavior thoughtfully rather than relying heavily on "no." Two of my ten years were spent caring for twins from infancy to toddlerhood, so I'm well practiced at juggling many demands at once! Infant care is where I feel most at home — sleep training, bottle feeding, gas relief, intro to purees & solids, BLW, tummy time, baby milestone developments, fine and large motor skills, administering medicine, and more. I am vaccinated for COVID, TDAP, and MMR, and CPR-certified for children and infants. I thrive in a collaborative nanny-parent partnership built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect — keeping parents connected through regular updates, photos, and texts, and adapting to each family's unique values and rhythms. My primary role is as a nanny, with a strong focus on nurturing each child's development and growth. I am not seeking a combined nanny + housekeeping/mother's helper position — though I'm open to extra non-child related tasks (clearly set & agreed upon) at a higher rate.* I also love incorporating music into childcare and offer beginner voice lessons! In my 20s I worked for a Bay Area nonprofit that I still volunteer with today. Contract agreements required for jobs 4+ wks. 3-hr minimum ($100 base). Same-day cancellations charged in full.
Hello prospective families! My name is Chelsea. I pride myself on being dependable, responsible, and honest. I am looking for date night or occasional jobs that can fit into my schedule. I am a graduate of the University of Virginia (B.A. & M.P.P) and University of Michigan (MBA) and will start my full time job at the end of summer. For over four years I worked with children from newborn through four-year-olds in a children's ministry in addition to routinely babysitting for families including daycare pick-up/drop-off. I am CPR certified and completed a refresher course. As a preteen, I began watching children as a mother's morning helper and continued babysitting throughout graduate school. My background is in the arts, cheering, and dance. The summer before leaving for college I worked as a performing arts instructor teaching children between the ages of 4 to 14. I enjoy spending time with kids and finding creative activities to fill the time. If you are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible sitter, please reach out to me. *As I drive my car to jobs, please let me know what the available parking in your area is when you request a booking **Please note, I am unable to accept bookings if anyone in the household has been sick within the last 48 hours. For occasional babysitting jobs, I do charge for an in-person interview. Additionally, due to a peanut allergy, I am unable to prepare or feed children food with peanuts. I do charge a 50% fee for cancellations without a 24 hours notice. Thank you for your consideration.
