Hi families! 😊 My name is Alyssa, and I’m a 27-year-old kindergarten teacher who recently moved to San Diego. I’ve been babysitting for about 9 years while living in San Francisco, and I’m excited to start building meaningful, trusting connections with families here in SD. I’m a fun, energetic, and caring sitter with experience caring for children of all ages—from newborns to teens. I genuinely love spending time with kids through reading stories, playing games, doing crafts, and creating engaging activities that feel both fun and safe. I’m currently teaching kindergarten, so I’m available for weeknight and weekend babysitting. I have a reliable car and clean driving record if transportation is needed, and I’m CPR certified for both infants and adults. If you’re looking for a warm, dependable sitter who truly enjoys working with children, I’d love to connect. Feel free to message me with any questions—thank you! šŸ’›

Hi, my name is Montse. I received my masters (M.S) in Multicultural Counseling and B.S. in Psychology at SDSU. I currently work as a mental health therapist at a children’s hospital in San Diego. As part of my lifestyle I spend my free time practicing mindfulness, enjoying the outdoors, reading and spending time with family/pets/friends. I have learned how incredibly well all these practices compliment each other. While going to school I worked as a behavior therapist for children on the autism spectrum and spent many years working in after school care programs. On some evenings I enjoy providing child care services. Im a patient, caring, creative, compassionate, reliable, responsible, and fun-natured individual who simply has an affinity for working with children. I am bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish (I love speaking Spanish with kiddos and/or teaching new learners). I enjoy engaging children in story time, peek-a-boo, arts and crafts, music, and other forms of stimulating, educational, age-appropriate play. I also enjoy taking children for walks, to local parks, aquariums, museums, beach, movies, library, and finding free/affordable extra-curricular activities where they can have some age-appropriate experiences. I have many years of experience working with newborns, infants and teens. I have experience with overnights stays. I’m also a mom to a 6-month-old baby. My years of experience working with children makes me very comfortable working with any child. I like to cook and am also a good organizer. I can do light cleaning and run any other household errands that are needed. I am extremely pet friendly (as I have a dogs and a cat at home) so there is no need to keep pets away while I am sitting. I am all up-to-date on all of my immunizations and am CPR and first aid certified so you can always feel at ease when your children are in my care. I also have a California driver's license, an excellent driving record and a reliable car. I do not smoke and live in a smoke free home. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and affirming. Thank you for considering me as a potential caregiver for your family. I look forward to connecting! Booking Terms: I require a minimum of 3-4 hours per booking (depending on location). Please note, I charge for the full length of the booked time, even if you return home early. By sending a booking request, you agree to these terms. Thank you for your understanding!

Hi families!! I'm a 20-year-old third-year nursing student at Point Loma Nazarene University. I'm BLS CPR certified and have over 200 hours of clinical experience through my nursing program. I bring 4+ years of paid babysitting experience, currently work as a director at a children's summer day camp, and work as a daycare teacher during the school year. I'm confident caring for kids of all ages, happy to help with household needs, and great with pets, too. I have a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and a clear background check. I'd love to support your family!

ā€œWe loved working with Sam! Perfect balance of attentiveness and care for our 10 month old. Will certainly reach out to her for more babysitting opportunities if she’s available. ā€

Hello! My name is Chloe and I am an enthusiastic childcare professional dedicated to encouraging the development of the whole, healthy child. I am available occasional weekday evenings and weekends for sitting. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Developmental Psychology with a minor in sociology and more than enough Early Childhood Education and Development credits under my belt. In regards to my experience in the early childhood field, I have spent the majority of my time for the past 10 years working with young children of different ages and aptitudes, in both schools and in the home. I started nannying during my undergraduate career and then worked in a private French-American preschool for 2 years prior to temporarily moving to LA. During my 6 months in LA, I worked as a lead infant teacher in an early learning center. Now that I’m back in San Diego, I have been caring for 2 kiddos full-time and working occasional date-nights and weekends (if COVID precautions have been taken). I have experience with children of all ages from newborns to 13 year olds, as well as children with special needs (autism, behavioral problems, visual impairments). I specialize in early childhood, so the majority of the jobs I take are with children under 5 years old. I am very patient and understanding but also a believer in firmness and care/love. My outgoing personality and high level of energy allow me to keep up with even the most rambunctious little ones. My babysitting style is characterized by playing, creativity, exploration, and books/reading, and I do my best to keep TVs/tablets off when I babysit. In my free time I enjoy being outside, hiking, rollerskating, swimming, reading, spending time with my family, and seeing all the children I had cared for. It is my goal to provide enriching, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences for your children while making sure they feel safe and loved. Magda Gerber says it best: ā€œWhen we help a child to feel secure, feel appreciated, feel that ā€˜somebody is deeply, truly interested in me’, by the way we just look, the way we just listen, we influence that child’s whole personality, the way that child sees life.ā€ If you have any questions or would like to know more about what I did as a nanny for each family, please let me know; I'd be happy to answer any questions about my previous employment and am more than happy to send a resume and references.
