My name is Deanna and I have been a Colorado resident for 10 years; I have been watching children for 20+ years! **I am the current nanny in a share so am only looking for occasional or evening gigs, thank you** I am comfortable with children as young as newborns and as old as teenagers. I have assisted in raising at least a dozen babies to toddlers and beyond. I am comfortable with one or two children up to a whole classroom of children. I have worked in individual family's homes, after-school programs, pre-schools, been an au pair internationally and have watched many children at birthday parties and on family vacations. When it comes to child care, there is almost nothing that can surprise me or that I haven’t seen or experienced before. I am caring, compassionate, consistent, dependable and fun. I grew up in a family where both parents worked full-time and therefore, I like to be a good role model for children because the sitters I had in my childhood were huge influences on me and I would like to be the same positive influence. I believe in consistency, teaching independence that fosters growth and new ideas, and learning through play. I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors and adventure and of arts and crafts. I recognize that children are the future and believe it’s important to teach them valuable skills such as manners, empathy and kindness to carry with them throughout life. I have been working with kids in one way or another for many years now. I have 15 years in the pediatric medical field and worked 10 of those years at Children’s Hospital as a medical assistant. I now nanny full time to 2 boys, ages 1 and 3. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I have about 10 years of professional nanny experience and have been sitting since the age of 12. I like staying busy and enjoy trips to the park, cooking with your kiddos and doing art projects. Hi Family! My name is Bailey and I come with an extensive amount of childcare experience with all ages. With over two decades of experience, one of my favorite things in life is to spend time with children and help them learn. My all time favorite role though is being an auntie to my 5 nieces and nephews. I went to college for Intercultural Studies and Elementary Education and have my teaching credential. I started babysitting at a very young age (10 years old to be exact- different times!) and gathered extensive and vast experience throughout the years including full-time nannying, teaching, sports camps, church nurseries, Special Olympics, summer programs, and a dip into baby consulting. The ages I have worked with span from newborn (out of the hospital) to 15 years old (basically just a glorified Uber driver for one family :) ). Since I have worked with so many age groups, I would love to work and watch any child of any age. I love to have fun, be silly, be creative and play with the children. At the same time, I have good discipline and patience for children when needed. I am very respectful of what the parents want for their children and how they parent them. Since I went to school for teaching, I have taken some child development classes and I love putting what I learned into practice! I was a competitive swimmer for 15 years year round and would love to take children swimming if that is something you wanted. I also have been CPR/First Aid certified countless times and was once lifeguard certified and trained. I have a car and would love to run any errands or take the children anywhere. I am very experienced with driving and am an extremely safe driver. I do not mind doing light housework or fixing the children meals, and also pets are not a problem for me. I’m also a mommy to a beautiful 6 year old gal! ✨ I have many different hobbies of indoor and outdoor activities. I absolutely enjoy doing makeup and trying different foods, arts & crafts, gardening, playing volleyball, singing & dancing, and traveling. My rates are flexible—starts at $23/hr per child and an extra $1/hr for each additional child. I have my own policy of a 2-hour minimum for a flat rate of $55. As for child transportation, it will be an additional 0.65 cents per mile if driven in my car. If you have to cancel, please give me a 24-hour notice or there will be a $25 cancellation fee.
