I come from a big, loving family with four rowdy brothers, so I’m no stranger to energetic households! My childcare experience began in high school, where I spent my junior and senior years nannying a toddler with fetal alcohol syndrome. It was some of the most challenging, yet rewarding, work I’ve ever done. Since then, I’ve cared for children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. My schooling was completed in England, some 20+ years ago, where i completed my NNEB, since then I have worked for numerous families, both here and abroad. Being a nanny is something I enjoy. A nanny working for one family looking to share with another young family. The family lives in the Richmond neighborhood of SE and consists of two boys ages 4 (soon to be five) and 7. They are watched by the nanny during the workweek, roughly 4 hours, five days a week. The four year old will be starting kindergarten this coming Friday and the 7 year old started second grade this week! Some of the things the boys love are, going for walks to the park, legos, reading books, science projects, baking, making art and building. Mom works from home so can help out in an emergency.
