I am CPR and First Aid certified, bilingual in English and Spanish, and conversational in French and Mandarin Chinese. As an educated and experienced early childhood professional, I know how to make the most of teachable moments in everyday experiences. I spent my first career working with children and families in various educational settings, with children from birth through the teenage years, and understand the critical development happening during these different stages. Now I work as a family therapist, and I love to provide babysitting services as a way of staying connected to my roots! I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual, and creating the best environment for them. I have worked with children, teens, and young adults with varying needs, including children with autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy, asthma, and moderate to severe behavioral diagnoses. I am comfortable with and trained to administer medications, including epi-pens. Hi, my name is Charmaine. I've been working with children since I was 13 and truly love doing it! I started by babysitting for kids in my neighborhood. At 16 started working part time as a helper at a daycare center. I was a principal of the same daycare for 2 years and now a full time nanny looking for babysitting opportunities.
