My main goal is to always make sure children are having fun in an educational way and providing a safe environment for them. I am a big fan of arts and crafts so I always carry crafts around me in case a fun little activity can be done. I also love pets and take care of them as well! I have had many hamsters, cats, dogs, chinchillas, etc...so I am fine with giving them my extra care. I am also bilingual and speak English and Spanish fluently, and wouldn’t mind giving a little Spanish lesson every now and then. I've been babysitting children since I was 14, when I started watching over family friends' children. When I was 15 I started working at Strawberry Canyon Explorer Camp where I worked for 8 years teaching children ages 4-10. At camp I worked with kids one on one as well as in large groups. I've also spent years volunteering in local elementary schools. I love teaching and hope to be an elementary school teacher in a few years. I've primarily worked with kids ages 4-7 but have experience with older as well. I love bringing them outside and teaching them sports, as well as helping them with that tough math problem.
