Hello! My name is Kelly, and I have experience with kids and pets! :) Please message me for additional availability as I work full time (11 AM - 8 PM) with semi flexible hours and am a fur mom. I can try to accommodate if noticed in advance. ***Note: I am only looking for occasional jobs*** PET CARE: I currently have 2 puppies and a cat at home (11 month old maltipoo, 11 month old domestic shorthair, and 6 month old mini aussie). All three are extremely sociable and friendly towards other animals. We currently live in an apartment, but do our best to make up for the lack of a backyard by taking them to the dog park, on drives, play dates, and giving them enrichment toys! CHILDCARE: I have mostly worked with ages 4-12 prior to COVID-19. However, I have worked with younger ages and am comfortable with them. In all 4 years of my high school career, I taught children from 2nd grade to 11th grade, so I am also able to help with any homework necessary! With that being said, I have experience in breaking the ice with children slowly to gain their trust, as well as yours as a parent. As a person, I am extremely cautious and aware of my surroundings, so I will always assure that your child(ren)’s safety comes first. I have been working with children for 15 years and I still love it. I worked at a daycare center as an infant toddler teacher for five years. I taught swim lessons to all ages. I am currently a nanny for over 5 years. I love to be outside taking walks, or at a park. I like to do art activities, make up scavenger hunts, read books, play board/card games, legos, and just follow what the child is into. Usually just make up games. A babysitter should be a fun time for the child. I am happy to do easy meals for the kids and some cleaning.
