Hi families! 🤍 My name is Alejandra, and I’m originally from Puerto Rico! I’m currently a sophomore at Loyola University New Orleans, majoring in Public Health on the pre-med track.
Working with children has always been something I genuinely love! My mom is a teacher, so I grew up surrounded by education and developed a passion for helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I have several years of babysitting experience, worked as a summer camp counselor for three summers, and have also provided tutoring and homework assistance.
I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, and I love incorporating creativity, learning, and fun into the time I spend with kids! Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor activities, helping with homework, preparing meals, or bedtime routines, I always do my best to make children feel safe, comfortable, and happy.
I’d describe myself as patient, nurturing, responsible, and dependable. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your little ones in someone else’s care, and that’s something I never take lightly. I believe that good communication, consistency, and respecting each family’s routines are just as important as making sure the kids have a great time!
I’m primarily available for date nights, evenings, and weekends, and I’m happy to discuss both hourly and flat rates depending on your family’s needs.
My goal is simple: to make your life a little easier while giving your children the attention, kindness, and care they deserve. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family! 🤍
