She kept my 8 year old son engaged and having a wonderful time making paper monsters from a book that Rose brought with her. She made dinner for my son and his friend and cleaned and tidied areas of the apartment. Hello! I am a mother first and foremost, my daughter is now a freshman in college, so I have lots of experience working with children. Years ago, I worked within MCPS in the Pre-School Education Program (provides special education services for ages 3-5). I am currently in school as well, taking online classes but have extra time to explore my passions; education, childcare, health, and nutrition. My daughter has had a severe nut allergy most of her life, so I am used to working with and around allergies. I love the outdoors and hiking, cooking and traveling.
I graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology in 2016. I am very passionate about helping people improve their lives and hope to go back to school for social work or forensic psychology. I have 2 nephews and 1 niece that I watch for my older brother, and they are the light of my life! When I have them for extended periods of time I try to make a set schedule of activities to keep them busy and set meals. I also used to be a YMCA Summer Camp counselor in college work with children in kindergarten and enjoyed every minute of it! I am CPR certified! I like to play piano and I love love love podcasts!
