Hello, my name is Jasmin and here is a little bit about me. I have 3 younger siblings whom I have baby sat and raise throughout the years. In my personal experiences, I have babysat children from ages 2 and up and jobs consisted of helping with homework, playtime, and bedtime duties. Implement developmentally appropriate entertainment, fair discipline and creating stimulating environment for children in my care. I can clean, organize, work well with both as an individual or part of a team, and complete a request to the prime of my capacity. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorder and Sciences and a doctorate degree in Audiology. Throughout my studies and I have taken three child development courses. I see how many of the different topics I learned in my child development classes help me in my interactions with the children and I have applied many strategies I have learned in applying fair discipline and a stimulating environment while the children are in my care. I admire working with children and create activities to keep entertained, imaginary play, dancing, board games, and an aptitude for arts and crafts. I have excellent communication skills and I enjoy talking to and helping out people. I pride myself in taking on challenges and growing and learning from my different experiences whether they are good or bad. Any experience is a good learning experience. I look forward to the contingency I gain and the household I will accommodate. Thank you.

She is fantastic. She's responsible, professional, and kind. My kids adored her. She managed our often chaotic household with aplomb. Wholeheartedly reccomend.

I am a fun, caring, God-fearing, trustworthy individual. I come from a Christian background and a big family. I’m currently a Montessori lead teacher and I’ve been in a lead role for a year and a half. Prior to that, I’ve been nannying for 2 years in home before switching to an early childhood center. I recently had a baby girl April 2024, I love my job, but I’m looking to become an independent home caregiver to create a more intentional and focused environment. I’m an active member of my church, and when I’m not at church, I am at family events or at home with my family! I want to use my wisdom to be a part of the development of children and make an impact in their life while helping families. I’m here to serve others! I have CPR, AED, and first aid certification from the American Heart Association. I have some Montessori training as well. In my past I obtained CNA certification, and I’ve worked with the elderly for 3+ years before switching to working with children. My heart is with the children and the elderly. I have experience with ages 0-10; I prefer to work with infants up to ages 4 or 5. I am willing to take on kids over that age if there is an infant or another child. I can do anything needed by the parent. I enjoy all activities! Anything from painting, reading, arts and crafts, language exploration, sign language, and more. Since I have my own infant I would like to open my home to families instead of traveling.

Brianna $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi Families, I may be new to this app, but I am definitely not new to child care! I got my first job at a child care center in Rosemount when I was 16 years old working in the infant room. I worked there for a year and a half, then spent a year in the toddler room (changing more diapers than I could possibly count). I continued to work there while I was in college, and became the “lead teacher” of the preschool room! During this time I spent two summers nannying for a family that had two identical twin four year old boys, and an 8 year old girl two-three days a week. I also had countless babysitting jobs on the weekends! I eventually had to leave my kids at that day care when I was 20 years old because I got a job at the university of Minnesota’s Child Development Center working with the 4 and 5 year olds. I also was involved in a research project called Chicago Longitudinal Study promoting early education for low income neighborhoods around this same time. I graduated with a Developmental Psychology degree (also knows as Child Psychology) and began my Masters program in Clinical Social Work with a speciality in family and children. I now work at a elementary school in Hennepin county as the school therapist for the children! I’m looking to use my experience to make some extra money to pay off some of the student debt. I’ve always loved working with kids, and I have the experience and education to back it up! I have experience with all ages, and I’m happy to answer any questions you may have! I’m willing to negotiate on pricing depending on the situation.
